Years back, remember going up there on the back of the old mans 200 benley twin, he had to stop at the top for half an hour to let the engine cool down, then terrified us both going back down later !! i was only about 7 in an open face lid and gardening gloves. Great days though

When I swapped my GSX550E for a TRX850 the woman known on a good day as wife believed it was actually smaller because it only had half the number of cylinders
When I swapped my TRX850 for a TLR1000R she believed it was the same size ... and only looked bigger because of the fairing (or "the plastic bit" as she called it)
When I swapped the TLR100R for the TuonoR she believed it was smaller because, ironically, it didn't have "the plastic bit".

Calling all Pikeys ... calling all Pikeys!
I am now 90% certain of making the Aber run on the 27th ... only pissy weather will make me consider staying at home.
Are you considering it?
If so perhaps we could meet up and run in together?
As previously mentioned I won't be hooning it ... and it might be nice to have a pair of T's from Shropshire / Worcestershire / wherever.

I have just got round to AA Routing "Abergavenny" and I have to say I am utterly shocked.:eh
I thought we were going to the ****** sea side!
Infact I thought anything starting "Aber" such as "Dovey" and "Ystwyth" was at the sea side.
Japan no longer has this problem as everywhere can now be officially be classed as "at the sea side".
There better be ice cream, fish and chips :eatcornand a donkey ride at this mysterious land-locked town; just sayin.

Seaside, bloody seaside. We're talking class a country roads here fella. Fast sweeping bends etc. I'll be one gutted fella if the weather is ***** now. We've had awesome weather down here last couple of weeks. I'm out this weekend hopefully clearing the roads of cack for all u lot
lol i thought it sounded like the sea side too !!!!, lovely place go through there when going to llangorse fishing.
Well this time it's not to the seaside but I'm sure we could arrange a ride down to Swansea for a **** bartons fish and chips and some joes ice cream. I'm sure if that was arranged the wife would want to go pillion for the 2nd time in her life. From Swansea down to llangenith for the best beach in south Wales (just my opinion) and a cracking pub just up the road for some food. Now that's sounding quite an attractive proposal the more I think about it but more for the finer weather.

Take Tuono out of boat ... go for ride to Aber
Come home ... reverse procedure descibed above

but those scottish boys are odd, they have christmas lights in their kitchens in March. Anyway would not know if they are being unpleasent as cant understand anything they write.
I dont get the time for a day out, work ft, 2 kids under 4 and another due July. Only time i get with them is the weekend, so a day out as much as i whould like to come just is not feasible at the moment.

Hiya Pikey. More than welcome. Prob best you're not coming with that group malarky death by dangerous driving thing now. The group ride has now changed to a non group ride. All individuals I don't know anyone. i'm seting off at 11am from Abergavenny and if anyone follows me nowt I can do about it. Think i'm covered now

Yes the pikeman needs to get them cans aired with other tuonos on a ride out. Not a group ride out though. Each man for himself and set off at 5 minute intervals lol. No group riding allowed. I'm not being done for speeding cos someones playing catch up
