Its straight forward to be honest but I'll try and do some kind of map or destination type thing for you before the day. Is your daughter still doing pillion on the day? I'm planning on just taking it at snide easy pace myself butcan be known to crack on at a bit of a lick providing no coppers about. Saying that I might be scrubbing some new rubber in then still as can't see myself getting out before then. Hope weather stays good for the day

Wee spurts to 120+ on straights have been known (ffs dont tell the woman I call "mistake") Lucie's a great pillion so we can trot along quite nicely. I don't ever hammer it round bends with her on board nor do I expedite some of the more agressive overtakes seen whilst riding solo meo

Lucie's 13 mate ... my edest (doing my head in) is 16 but not interested in bikes or me for that matter
My little boy is 3 next month and keeps telling me when he's big enough he's going to ride a big motorbike like Daddy. Hmmmm not sure I fancy that to be honest as he follows his mother for awkwardness. Maybe I'll put him off by taking him on the back with me when he's old enough.
If work permits, I may join the fray. I've done the run from Brum to Abergaveny for a cuppa, (my ex used to think I was nuts going all that way for tea)
but have moved since then and it's another 40 miles, I need to look for a route, hopefully the bike will be sorted by then.

U must be bloody mad. I've got friends in Coalville and its a good hour and half away or hour and three quarters from there to Abergavenny. They've said for me to take my bike up one weekend if the missus goes up early on Friday but I just dont find motorway riding enjoyable really. Would be a pretty boring run. Good on ya if you come though.

I will look at finding a nice route down, I'm from Newport originally and my mother lives in Magor
I drive the route through Tintern when I visit (I have to go in the Car (Alfa GT) she doesn't know I have a bike)
I will certainly try and make the trip down, I may talk my mate on his 600 gsxr into joining me.

When I was 16 I wanted to get a 50. My parents were well against it as my older sister (11 years older) had been out with a fair few biker boyfriends and had come off bikes a few times and had the scars to prove it.
My parents tried to tell me I couldn't have a bike, I said I'd get one anyway but it would be a lot easier if they lent me the money. They eventually did so. When they later had to come and pick me up from hospital a few times after I binned it they may have regretted their decision.

dont think i have anything on that weekend, kids football has finished now, so it could be a nice blast down there and back..

Ok so likely people to be coming are aka gilo and his mate with ducat, windymiller, tuboy, Evlin, daveb, newelly with pillion and mate with 125, stix, ashcorner and pinny. So including me that's 11. Weather holds up should be a nice little run. Cheers guys got your mobile no's. Will send a text night beforehand and morning of ride. Can't guarantee site will be up and running eh
