It's a nice road, but I prefer tight and twisty, which is why the Usk Rd is one of my favouritest ever. Gimmee bends, more bends, and shitloads of bends :thumbup
Plenty of overtakes indeed - and for a change none of them ropey!!
Had a cracking ride after I left you as well, roads were really quiet then. Blasting up that bit by storey arms with hardly any traffic was tops as normally bikes everywhere around there.
Got boring then once on A470 and cold last few miles but it was 7 ish.
Tried to banish my left hand bend blues today. Feel better now - mind playing tricks with me
Was reading magazine and it giving tips on overtaking so tried to do what they said. Basically just get out in the right hand lane if its safe to do so and see whats coming then blast past and back down to cruising speed.
Wouldn't have said you had left hand bend blues though other than that episode once last week. Perhaps the shandy helped calm the nerves.
I read Ride magazine before I left yesterday as well! Did a cracking 'advanced' right hand overtake on way home. Q interesting read as you say about getting over other side first before giving it beans.
Just finished washing both cars & bike. Weather fantastic but I'm glad we went yesterday as can't imagine how busy it'll be in Aber and surrounding roads today!
That stretch from Aber to Brecon on way home last night was top as really quiet hardly any cars or bikes. Bet that stretch will be somewhat different today
Oh aye I'm off week after next as well. Flaming eck gonna have to get it dirty. The chain lube I've got is ***** and kicks muck all over the place. Will give u a shout when I'm out next then on week off
