Sunday 27th March South Wales to Mid Wales ride out (and back)

Getting close now innit. Should be a good crack I reckon. Newelly is bringing his mate on his 125cc Aprilia so its not going to be a fast one really. The roads we go on as you know mate are just straight so no turn offs until you get to the cafes really. its going to have to be the full circuit from Aber, Llandovery, Builth, Crossgates and then onto Hereford. I'd have though Newelly might have branched off at this point rather than going abck to the Aber Bus Station meet point.

PS Evlin said she'd go at the front and said most men probably wouldn't be able to keep up with her on her Factory.

It should be a good craic indeed.

Here's hoping for good weather! (and that my tyres are fully scrubbed in by then.......)

Mine has chicken strips still on both sides the same width as my centre parting ;)

What time are we thinking of meeting, as I'm about an hour away. Don't mind really just wondering?

Open to suggestions really mate. Obviously weather dependant so whoever is interested I was going to grab all their mobile numbers or e-mails nearer the day and text them / e-mail in the morning to say what the weather was like to save people travelling all the way down if its ***** weather. I usually get up with my little one at about 7.30am so can give people a heads up at that time. Its easy for me but say if people set off at 8 to 8.30 am and work out how long its going to take the longest to turn up to Abergavenny. I reckon Evlins the furthest away in Oxford but she's a bit dubious about coming as its her brothers birthday the night before.

Its about a 2 hour ride from Oxford for normal people. However Evlins been going on a bit how she's faster than most blokes on here so probably going to take her about hour and half. she said if she makes it it's probably best if she goes at the front of the ride out as well as she doesn't like being held up by slow riders afraid to crank it over in the bends.

takes 1half hours to abber for me....but too cold to leave at 730 but as mr bay says i might be not in a fit state any how:cheers

Surely Evlin if we're meeting at 10ish u wouldn't have to leave at 7.30. If u did u'd be sat all by your lonesome for an hour waiting for us to turn up.

PS Guys most of the hour and half for Evlin is on one wheel as well. She reckons she can wheely better than any bloke she knows.

depends which way i go aswell...i like going tinturn way to abber thats takes longer!!!!!!!
