My two pence worth... I'd avoid Devil's Bridge on a Sunday PM

Plus gotta led the guys who are travelling up for the Settle - Hawes run do that for sure (its what Rhodesy sold the trip on to start with).

After that how about a round trip out of Hawes, over Buttertubs then B6270 to Nateby and back to Hawes via B6259:thumbup / A684. I reckon that's about a 35 miles circuit (TBH havent done all of that before myself but have done most of it and it takes in some good roads).

Double bonus the new guys get to ride back to Settle from Hawes when they're ready to head for home - as you know it takes several runs on the Hawes - Settle run to even start to appreciate it fully...... this way they at least get 2 runs at it.

what ever beechy im fine with it and see what happens on the day, some of us wont be overfussed on doing more miles as were local - the longer the better but in consideration we dont have to ride all the way back home - for us its not so bad - think we should do the original route and see what others think when we get to hawes - what ever happens me n tina are looking forward to it all the same as is dave and ken i assume

Not fussed either as long as we do the 22 Mile stretch, get some good pics and everyone enjoys, then i aint bothered which route we take back ...:doug
