well we maybe busy this weekend coming - unless the weather really good , but if a few are up for it -us northern could meet up with dan and rick and go weekend after next ??
well really it not totally mi idea - ken ( cbr600rr ) was on about a ride / night out next year - and spoke to amb67 i think and mentioned about the matlock run - " i said about the matlock run through buxton is good and dan ( dan.46 ) said he'd be up for it and by the cat and fiddle etc. i could sure plan the route as i used to go - but i would think dan and rick have better local knowledge - so im open to all offers

Dave, Yeah my mate Pete does the paint for a living. Why are you thinking about something, I thought the moto graphics (I think that's right) on yours looked good anyway.

was just thinking about future really mate for when i get the need for change etc ..
maybe just have the belly pan done on mine in italian design but not sure how that would sit with the silver :dunno

you need to do it! and soon - they're wrecking it with speed camera's in the next couple of months. and i mean the average speed check camera's so no slowing down in between.i f**king love it there. i usually go about 7am on a sunday (almost every week if weather is good). no cars at that time.
not everyones cup of tea as it tends to scare some people. you can't go and do the run from top to bottom once. we usually spend a couple of hours going up and down. have to give it some respect though. i've had 2 crashes there in the last few years and plenty of sphincter twitching moments.
if anyone wants to meet at matlock, i'd say have a short ride to ashbourne coz the cat n fiddle gets too busy after about 10.30am

Yes I'm looking forward to having some good ride outs this year. Can't wait for our spring blast. Please can we have some good weather this year.

Been looking at the weather outside, its pissing down and dreaming of those summer days.
Had a top day out at the Northern Lads ride last year so this thread came as a timely reminder of what we've been missing for months.
Met some of the guys (Init + his speed-mental Mrs, Blade, Killa, Spooky, CBR, Sprocker, JasRSV, Pointer and many others plus a variety of our non-Zone mates who just dont get the V2 thing - top fellas to a man (and woman) all of them and esp. Rhodesey for orgaising the hoon. And YorksRSV (the stuntman) who filmed a brief section and posted it on YouTube to prove it all happened.
Roll on the good weather and hopefully we can do the whole thing again.:doug
