Yes i understand they need to get it right but lets be honest they started to hype the bike up nearly 2 years ago, i had a deposit on for 8ish months and have been told 4 delivery dates all of which came and went, had Aprilia been honest from the start and explained it will not be released until a mountain of spares had been produced and mechanics trained customers may have more tolerance and wait, but then again ya struggle to get parts for exsisting models and i believe the same will happen whatever they produce.
At the end of the day Aprilia have now got to give a date and stick to it regardless of spares.
honestly, i think that's more of a dealer issue than an Aprilia issue. Most dealers just want the sale, they'll tell you whatever they think you need to hear to get that deposit down.
