YTZ14-BS is what you need mate

Sorry mate yes thats what i meant!!

I decided to try a 180/55 Rear P-Power on my Mille to quicken up the Steering. Will go for a 190 after that & write up my experiences with both.

I`m running a 180 supercorsa on the rear now. All feels good, but I think I`m going to stick a 190 on it for the track for the larger contact patch

I'm thinking of fitting stabalisers for a larger contact patch :devious

Agreed Steve the 190/55 would be better on Track.

I get P-Powers for a great price from a mate, so decided on the 180/55 Rear for the Road as the Tyre sidewalls will be tight. The 190/50 P-Power sidewalls are very soft, so will try the 190/55 next once these ones are shot.

Satchel Man
cant hurt to try! Let us know how you get on.
Are you saying the 50 profile has softer sides than the 55???

Nik
Best idea you`ve had lol :jack

How you finding the Rossos now? cleaned em up yet? funnily enough I found a half clean half greased picture (see if badger can leave that alone.) of the r6 tire after the crash, when I was cleaning of the sealant. Shocking!

Wot :dunno :biggrin

Got some contact cleaner yesterday, put it on the paddock stand then spun it up in 1st cleaned it off like you said till no more black **** came off on the cloth then took the shiney stuff off with a ******* file :thumbup
They salted all the roads last night so not tried it out yet :roll

Doh, not the same stuff then :roll says it's a alchol based cleaner which removes grease, oil & sufrace contaminants including tobacco residues :dowhat wonder if it will clean me lungs out.

(slaps forehead) you muppet.
I cant comment on wether that will harm or help your tires. If it were me I`d clean that of asap too. The thing about brake cleaner is it lifts out the grease then evaporates almost immediately, leaving no residue or contamination. God knows what contact cleaner will do to em.... :/

i love it in the man cave and work from home fixing scooters so any spear time will get spent on the millie or the kx125 or my super ped that is getting built as were riding to mogello for the gp on scooters for charity we did 750 miles last year on 50cc's and ended up at brands for the bsb final

That sounds like a giggle. I couldnt ride to mugello though and not do some laps! Not on a ped. Mind you, I`v lapped brno on a ped with a brolly girl on the back :p

I`m thinking I should of just sneaked my bike into his garage, and he`d be having such a good time he`d have done mine too without realising :D

Hope you don't mind Steve but here's another one to add to your mod list :devious

HOW TO MAKE THE BACK BRAKE ACTUALLY WORK :biggrin
First, remove the piece of junk baby brembo master cylinder & reservoir then chuck in the bin :biggrin

Next fit the master cylinder & reservoir from an Aprilia Shiver.

They bolt straight on, just cut the reservoir hose to suit :thumbup

RSVR028.jpg

Next adjust the push rod so you have between 1 to 1.5mm of play with the return spring removed. Unbolt the rear caliper & bolt it to the rear sub-frame so the bleed nipples at the highest point in the system & bleed as normal.

Top tip :biggrin drink all the bolly before you drain brake fluid into it :jack
