I was in Aberdeen on Wednesday and Thursday night ... if ever you get the chance ... go to "The Moorings Bar" ... absolutely spot on. Rock and metal with a touch of goth, ice cold Guiness and very friendly folks.

aye Moorings is a good howf wi bands an stuff aye on...used tae be a right wreck o a placed years ago wi jist jakies fur punters frae the harbour, ships an fishhooses.
 
Bottle of red tonight, got me looking at new lids. Don't need one but shiny lust is a terrible thing.
 
As I get a little weak in the morals and ethics department when I drink, I try tae avoid getting pished when in a committed relationship... hence no drinking heavily when married. It also seems to allow me to order all kinds of ***** from eBay and the interweb that looked great through beer goggles but may not have been the best of ideas in the cruel light of next day... Couple this with seeing what kind of ***** people get up tae when pished and winding up in my ED, I like to savour my times with a Guinness or single malt.

Saturday night ... pissed up and on e-bay = an e-mail today advising me that "congratu-******-lations you have won a set of second hand golf clubs".

Pleased?

Not really as I already have a perfectly good (better) set.

I need to put alcohol controls on my account so my PC knows not to let me on certain sites if I am in my cups.

Anybody else do this or is it just me?
 
I'm **** too mate. I reckon golf only second to bikes for mmmmmm need that , mmmmmm need this. For what its worth, the best clubs I had and sold them cause I thought I was better than them were me Big Bertha's. Oh yeah loved them. Not played much for the past 2 years because of me gammy shoulders, got some Ping's now. Can't even remember what type. What a nob.
 
Buying ***** off ebay when pissed up - oh yes. Too many times.

Luckily I have no interest in golf - I know how expensive that can get. All I tend to buy is motorbike or cycling stuff. Or if really wasted, innapropriate clothing for the missus.....
 
You need to be a bit more thrifty and look after your money............I don`t carry money unless I`m going to need it and then try to make it out of the way .
EG. By the time i have hold of my dosh i`ve given up wanting.

Think that I am gang tae gaw on a pit o' a pisher this weekend. That Strongbow looks the bollocks. I have to work 08-2015 tomorrow so I'll make it a slow Saturday eve. Wi' lots of cider and stout.

Although my 11 yr old son is having a sleepover here with his mate so I'd better behave :)

Eat pies, drink more and grow fuzz

Im "off this week" as well ... but I cannot do nothing (double negative) and consequently I've worked a modest 50 hours

Despite my toils the woman I refer lovingly to as "mistake" who gets up for work at 0800 ... and returns from work at 1300hrs ... has chastised me for being an inadequate and inconsiderate husband / father

An example if I may ... today

Kids asleep ... "mistake" comes in at 1300 hrs. I get bollocking at 1301hrs for not getting kids up and feeding them and for not walking dachshund ... errrr ... I mean Dobermans. To be honest I think 13 and 16 year old daughters and a Dachshund know when to eat sleep **** and piss and telling them otherwise whilst they are on hols is dangerous.

And tonight .. ."The Ranch ... Californian Shiraz ... fae ra Co-op ... stunning red on offer so buy a **** load!
 
Again, new... +1. Seems the only time that housework gets done is on my days off. Yes I have more days off than most, but it took me many years to get to that position and still bring enough in the door to pay the bills. Her indoors has only been employed Christmas before last, and a couple of months this last summer. Birthday Party for a mutual friend Saturday night. I get along with friends hubby very well, so methinks that the two of us will tie it on a tad and let the little woman drive me home. I better tell her as I work tomorrow and she isn't speaking tae me richt the noo.
 
7 pints and a damn good curry last night.

In meetings all morning so gonna have to neck a load of pro plus to keep awake.

Gonna be a loooong day.......
