Assistant Principal in a secondary school in South Yorkshire, but not always been in teaching.

Started out as a trainee auctioneer in a livestock market in North Yorkshire back in the '80s, did a surveying degree but jacked all that in and started teaching at 28....................fancied the extra holidays if I'm honest ;-)

I was a surveyor and commercial diver before getting into the nursing field. I occasionally miss the surveying, on nice sunny days. But when it's -40C out there... I don't miss it at all. I was a mere lad o' thirty when I got into nursing.
