What do you do for a Living?

I`m an ex HGV Tramper, Now I am my wifes Primary Carer . I stay at home and look after her inbetween messing with bikes and pipes :D

Hats off to you Hector,,You must have the patience and commitment of a Saint

i'm a telecommunications technician, nah not really but i'm a cable jointer in the telcom industry, have worked previously as an underground miner, fisherman, labourer, just waiting to win the lottery

I got into Nursing so that I could meet a nice Doctor lady and then stay home and raise the kids... It didn't work out. So now I'm hoping for a lottery win too!

Manager in the Commercial Recoveries dept of a large bank. Sounds boring as hell, but I've got a really varied role, the pay and benefits are pretty good, they're a good bunch of people working there, and I have a sound boss who's also into bikes and sometimes comes out riding with me and my mates.

Before that worked in Marine and Aviation Reinsurance collections for 13 years, then was Credit Manager for a large law firm for 10 years.

It can get hectic but I`m just the housewife/husband.
Since I got my pension I get £52 a week.
I am going to have to sell my body

Nice to see the system is looking after those who need/deserve decent support,,,shame your not a immigrant with 5 kids and a woman in a burka. You would have a MPV a house and large amounts of taxpayers cash or serving a sentence in one of her majesties premier inns with sky telly and 3 meals a day and room service

funny about that

funny you should say that about recent immigrants Leslie, it's much the same down here, we've got em queing up by the thousands

ps i'll add social commentator to my resume

Yes makes you think doesn`t it.
I sometimes wonder what will happen to our wounded (War Zones) in 10, 20 . 30 years. Who is going to clean up after them?.

I am a Civil Engineer. I have been freelance for the last 26 years, so I don't have a big important job, but I have worked on a wide variety of projects, from the Offshore Industry, through the Petrochemical stuff, commercial & industrial buildings, roads and bridges, sea defences and for the last few years upgrading the UK's woefully under invested rail systems.

I currently work from home, producing CAD stuff and supporting calc's for the rail industry, it isn't high flying, but it pays well, and the expenses are next to fook all.

work in the Naval Dockyard in Plymouth as an electrical fitter, used to refit Frigates, Destroyer's and Nuclear submarines but now build luxury super yachts for the very very rich, £150 million a punt. oh how the other half live

If every body was rich there would be no ambitions, we just wouldn`t bother.
