daughter fell off the back

Just picked up on this post, may I add my best wishes for a speedy recovery for you daughter. As mentioned many times, dont penalise yourself.
I can relate to this aswel with my lad and daughter. Had a few close calls, falling asleep on the back, sliding off the pillion seat sideways cos I polished it too much.
Got a mouthful of abuse from him at 15 yrs old. Didnt think he swore!!

I thought this post had run it's course...

Working from home today I received a call from Po-leece

Very polite policeman telling me I MUST report to Kidderminster Police Station WITH Lucy (13) so she can make a statement as to what happened. And "NO" the police cannot come to my house.

The plod was vary pleasant ,,, but when he said "This will either go to file" or "further"

I stopped him

Does "go further" mean I could be charged?"

"Yes ... but having spoken to you and looked at the notes, it is likely to go to file"

I told Lucie we had to go to the station to make statements and her response (not been on bike since accident) was "great, let's go on the bike"

So my friends ... I too await a decision based upon circumstance

Welly, I'm glad to see yer lassie's no got a prob gettin back on the bike but firstly she's recovered from the off.

Fae this fud, take her a run roon the block first, but maistly don't try to guide her in the direction of yer whatever.

She's young and Obviously Still trusts her Dad.

A jist did a deal wae ma lassie wae the cost of skydiving.

She's jist 18 but came oot wae me on the bike fae early doors.

Yer Love Em more than life. :yes

45 min drive to Police station

30 mins with plod ...

45 mins back home

Big friendly copper.

"Lucie in your own words and with no prompting from dad, what happened"

"Me dad right, he's one of those Tuonozone head cases innit. He's ****** well mental man and he like pulled a massive wheely on the roundabout right ... and then when he was doing a do'-nut with me on the bars I like fell off; it was well wicked but I bruised my arse loads"

What she actually said was "We were over taking an invalid scooter and when i looked back and waved ... I lost my balance and fell off"

I had to produce all my docs and the case now gets assessed to see if they want to bring charges for reckless or was it (careless?) driving against me.
