check the rectifier.
I've had similar issues with a blackbird I used to own, long story short it turned out to be an intermittently faulty rectifier throwing ac into the bike the . AC into the ecu will do weird things and eventually destroy electrics. Worth a test at least
As for the false neutral I have heard that Tuono and in fact all Aprilia do suffer from this especially between 5th and 6th, but would say this is not related to the bike running rough.

One thing to check is the connector under the left side of the tank ................

clean and replace.

But as Roy says, the gearbox needs a firm action and false neutrals are there at the best of times.
The neutral lights does not come on unless it's a real neutral (I think).

dredge i know but, the neutral light can come on if the ecu or the dash is having electrical problems

I had a similar problem with my 2006 R Tuono after a bought it. After half an hour of riding, it would run quite rough and almosy die. This happened frequently and on a track day too. BSD at Peterborough looked at it and it was the original fuel filter blocking up. Thi was starving the engine hence it not running.
It runs great now, dont let your dealer fob you off. Threaten them with trading standards, that normally works...

So... 2 weeks later and no news ?

Lookin at Jordan Mc website they have a 10 plate T with a ecu fault that they dont have the time or "resources" to fix....

Maybe they could rob that of bits and fix yours ..

Doesnt inspire "confidence" in dealer service , or is it just me ?

(assuming of course that you havnt had a refund / px etc and moved on... )
