Alright lads it’s about time I pulled me finger out my *** and did an update
First off! A few pics of the bike in its finished state apart from the spray job! I’ve posted these pics in a previous post but I thought it would be a good idea to keep everything in this thread:thumbup
Next up the bike went in for its MOT the start of June and passed with flying colors or though I think the tester just wrote a ticket with out even looking at it, either way it passed! :biggrin
The bike has now been on the road and been used as my sole commuter for the past month and a bit, apart from it looking like Joseph’s Technicolor dream coat it hasn’t missed a beat :doug
The Sunday just passed was the time to strip the bike back down so it can finally be sprayed up to match the rest of the bike (the most exciting part)
Luckily I managed to get a good price at a spray shop I used to be an apprentice at many moons ago, but the condition of the cheap price was that I prepped the panels myself, I was like yeah no probs I can do that, Haa well as some of you might already of realized I’m not the most patient of people, did a few panels and got fooked off with it so had to walk away before I broke something else :laugh in the end there was about 4 panels that I never prepped so I’m just hoping Tony my old boss wont notice and let me off with the good price he agreed on “fingers crossed”
Ill add some pics of the prepped panels tonight when I get back from work nothing that special but a few pics none the less,
And finally my panels were dropped off this morning! Might take up to 10 days to be sprayed just for the fact it was a cheap price and I said not to rush cant grumble really.
Will update with pics of the panels when I get them back Arrrr im nearly finished can’t believe it
