Bemsee is a long and expensive season if you only want to have a bit of racing experience. I'm too old to take it as seriously as that and don't have the free time or budget to chase a major championship. You also need a crew if you want to do well, turning up on your own or with your wife and kids is always going to make it hard unless you wife or kids are budding mechanics.I`v been sooo close to saying fook it and doing the beemse rookie 400`s on the old RVF a few times. But can never justify the outlay
If you just fance a go, try EMRA roadstocks of F400. It's only 6 rounds, all 1 day meets and all at Mallory. You might think this a bit dull, but you can get away with a much slower bike at Mallory than you can at other tracks and therefore don't need to invest £3k with RLR to make it competitve.
