Don't know for sure, but I have a Hyperpro RSC damper that I had on my ZX6R and that needs a fitting kit for the T - £50 - so I'm guessing the Ohlins may too.

thought as much aka, but from what ive read its the best thing to do to enhance the handling.

Whats the score with kit? I have a leather jacket ... Draggin jeans, AGV lid all designed and purchased to achieve the "urban warrior look" ... lol ... only kidding!

Is one obliged to wear one-piece or zip together leathers on track?

Can you hire clobber at track?

Yeah, I'm a big fan of dampers. My ZX6 was scary as **** as it came out of the crate - bars constantly waggling under hard acceleration (fun), with BIG slappers every now and then when hitting big bumps or catseyes (not fun). Fitted the Hyperpro and could cane it everywhere with no worries.

The standard Tuono damper ain't bad, but I'll be fitting the Hyperpro before the Spring.

Yeah you have to wear a one piece or zip together two piece on track. Dunno about hire I'm afraid.

you'll need one or two peice ( as long as they zip together ) acu approved lid , gloves boots etc, dont know about hiring them there though !!

aka, not convinced the standard ones that good. Get a fair bit of "waggle" when on one, specially on bumpy roads. Think it would be found wanting on track. Would be nice to have something you can adjust for any conditions..

There's an echo in here!

Yeah, if you have the Ohlins damper already then definately worth fitting it.

havn't forked out yet, thinking ohlins but doesnt have to be..

I can highly recommend the Hyperpro RSC damper. The R stands for Reactive - i.e. it's soft at low speeds but firms up as the speed of bar movement increases. This means at low speeds you really don't know you have a damper fitted, but I've hit some huge bumps under hard accelleration and the bars remain rock solid - no movement at all. And that on setting 3 out of 20!

just been looking at those, seem really good and reasonable too. Does it fit to the original mounting kit or would i have to buy a fitting kit as well ?

just answered my own question, Deemon bykes do the RSC with kit for £280. Sounds good to me !!

Yeah I paid about that. I still have the fitting kit for my ZX6R so need to get a kit to fit it to the T, about £50.
