normal colour frames

when I pull over at the next cafe and wait for them to catch up, I'll be enjoying my bacon sarnie.

blood a think yer got the wrang definition, :no ******** don't cut it mucker.:hail

I didn't understand a word of what you just said, sorry.

c'mon wissie boy is that the best you can do ??? Was hoping for a few more riding tips from you, i'm always willing to learn from the best..

I'm a long way from the best and I'm no teacher. I ride for myself and thats about it. I've been riding long enough and put enough miles under me to express my opinion on a suspension set up that a few people that aren't fat ***** would benefit from.
Apparently this is a forum where only the collective opinion of the "evil Twin" and other "authority" types seems to count and god forbid anyone else have another point of view.
If it makes you ladies happy buy your Ohlins and why not swap out some bits of plastic for carbon fibre and a tail tidy, thats sure to make you MotoGP ready.
I'm out of here, this forum appears to be a place for the usual ******** that I hear from middle aged men sprouting in their one piece leathers with untouched knee sliders, standing next to their immaculate GSXR1000 with the tyres barely used, in the carpark of every diner, dealer and bike meet I've ever been to.

You really are a sad **** ar'nt you ! I've been riding all sorts of bikes for thirty years now, have worn down more knee sliders than you've ever seen, and got through more tyres than Ironside himself... Who the **** do you think you are were !!!
You come on here telling us we're all stupid and you know best, you know **** ALL, if you could actually ride a bike, you would know that when ridden hard the standard shock overheats and turns to ****, just like your good self...... FUCKWHIT !!!
This is a forum for like minded people with a common interest, none of us think we're Leon Haslam as you obviously do, we just enjoy what we do, nobody cares who's the quickest or the best, we just are in love with owning probably the best bike in the world, and you need to ...**** OFF AND GROW UP !!!!
Rant Over ...

Dave.

Go make a cuppa, get yersen a biccie (or a scotch) to go with it, and remember - you don't need to worry about clone/trolls winding you up.
Every forum has a few,

just checked the weather - might even get out on the bike at the weekend. :thumbup

Not windin me up Bat, he just needed telling....... FUD. Wonder if he's got carbon stabilizers on his T ??

:)

He doesn't need them, he can balance for 2 hours whilst explaining to Valentino where he is going wrong. :rolleyes

LOL.... you got that right, whilst telling stoner why he's been dropping the front all season......

Calm down dear, your'll do yourself a mischief. Don't actually remember telling anyone they were stupid or that I "know best" and if I was going to compare myself to a racer it wouldn't be Leon Haslam, I prefere his father as it goes. I do remember saying that just buying an Ohlins shock won't make everything rosie. For a lot of people, including myself it's a waste of money as the standard is more than enough with the right set up.
As for this forum being for like minded people, thats not really true now is it when apparently saying that an Ohlins isn't always the answer is the equivilent of spitting in your face.
If you've been riding for 30 years I can't believe you've never met anyone that doesn't agree with everything you say? I've been riding for 20 and have discovered my own way of doing things without hurling abuse at anyone that doesn't tow my line.
I must say, I enjoyed your rant though, very passionate.

And Pedrosa ya ****, put a standard Tuono shock on ya bike if you wanna compete this season !!!

Wiskin, seriously mate, passion is good..... thats why we all ride. But as regards the rear shock, your just wrong. Sorry if you dont like it but its true, and its not just me saying ohlins is the best cos they aint, any good rear shock will be a massive improvement. Dont take my word for it, listen to many much more knowledgable people on here than me !!

D, I think yer were a bit over the top there. Surely a totally fecked sacks would be better for Pedrosa, he only weighs 4st.

Passion is good. I'm not denying that Ohlins are pretty fookin good, there's no doubt in that. I'm just saying it's not the only answer, especially when people don't have the money to throw at posh suspension. A good set up can change a bike and Aprilia aren't going to fit any old rubbish to their bikes. Hard riders and track day regulars will obviously benefit from Ohlins and other up market equipment. I managed to do 26,000 miles in the last 12 months on two bikes and neither has after market shocks and a lot of the riding was at, shall we say, a brisk pace.
For me, the Tuono straight out the crate is a better bike than my other two (Buell XB12s & Kawaski ZX10R) so I can't see a reason to change anything on it.

Know what your sayin but, sometimes bike manufacturers do put ***** on their bikes, i should know i had a TL 1000 S with the rotary rear shock, so dont think Aprilia are any different.
Dont assume im rich or old, im 45 and divorced which resulted in my "TOY" that i put 20 years of hard married labour into to get.... Ridden allsorts in the past, and ridden em hard, on track and road. Just sayin, this is by far and away THE BEST !!
