Apologies for the poor quality images but my camera is a pile of poo.

Believe it or not but that bracket started life as a length of 14mm copper tubing. Amazing what you can do with a vice a drill and a bit of black paint, isn't it. :devious

Total cost for fitment of the latest TomTom 7 sat nav system = £59.99 :thumbup

:doug

Amb, nice bracketry but £400 for a tw*t nav, bum me backwards

I go by the sun and wind direction, never see`s me right :rant

£400???

Try £59.99 all in and fitted mate!! :thumbup

No way I would pay £400 just for a sat nav, that kind of price is for millionaires only.

installing tomtom (either gb only or western europe) is very easy. just register on the help forum and download the zip (or.rar) file of your choice. instructions are contained within. takes 10 minutes, if that :thumbup

get TT7 files from here - you need to be registered to access the 'downloads' page

I am led to belive that you can put TT7 on the V3 but have heard that it has issues.

Dunno what they are, may be worth reading up on them before buying one.

One more Q, why bother putting the tomtom software on it, is the software already on the navigo that crap :confused

Yep, Turbodog (that's what it's called) is *****. (And that's putting it politely)

TT7 is excellent on the V2 Navigo unit, been using mine for a few days now and I have to say it's spot on for directions and camera warnings.

I'm impressed at the speed it calculates routes and recalculates when I turn off route on purpose.

Ordered my navigo V3 satnav......can you use SD HC 4gb card or does it have to be a SD card

cheers peeps
