dog bones and valves

Hi just started to service my tuono and grease the bearings in the dog bones 1st question how do you undo the screw at the engine side the exhaust down pipe is in the way or do you have to take that of as well, 2nd question do you need a special tool to do the shims :dunno:dunno

just back the header off a little, should be enough wiggle room.

valve shims ?? never done em, i got a chap in.

just a locking tool, you can make one your self, as for shims, KTM use the same shims but so do Harley V rods, 1125 Buells & BMW adventurers

Remove the springs from both header pipes to the collector, remove silencer to hanger bolts, spray header pipe to collector joint with wd40..... then wiggle it !

A second pair of hands helps....
