I may be a light weight but, been with my current employer for 16 years and never do more than 45 ish hours a week, dont earn a fortune but gives me plenty of free time though !!
I work for myself and if im not seeing customers in the evenings then im sat in front of this bloody thing doing quotes and invioces til friggin 9pm , mind you thats inbetween reading wot all us fuds are writing on here :thumbup
New that's a ridiculous number of hours from my perspective. I work about 35 hours a week, 39 weeks a year. Pays prob nowhere near as much as you blokes but I like my holidays and as my missus works in the same job as me we get to share all school holidays with the kids.
So we get to do **** like this:
Today, in Drayton Manor Park. Just before we got really wet. Well I did anyway. Fuckers
Seriously you get what you pay for. New - you wanted to pay your mortgage off & you've done it - good on you mate you deserve it :thumbup
Gurning dude is some random passer by...... 7 weeks is ******* good tho mate fair play. The only person I know who gets more hols than me is my bro & he gets 15 - postie. But he chooses to work through 3/4 of them.
Can't argue with 7 tho I bet a lot of peeps are v jealous about that.
Well I get 6 weeks as standard, and can buy up to another 5 days (which I do). It's well worth it! More play, less work makes Gilo grin like a yokel :thumbup
Newls..whit huv ye gone an done....noo every time wir havin a PMyth banter sesh ahl be visualisin him has some moustachio'd cattle botherin Kazak fanny....
Recently put my house up for sale. Advertised for £159. First viewing today by some philipinos. Offered £145. Just laughed @ estate agent. Instantly she says they can go to £150. While later official offer of £150.
Told em before we need £155 to make our sums work. Cheeky ***** - "hmm seen this many times missing a sale for a few thousand".
**** off!!!!
1st viewing **** offer go do one. Estate agent would love that wouldn't they, 1st viewing & sell. No way skinny ***** you'll have to work harder than that
Tough market at the moment though fella. Talking from other side of the fence as never seen your house so can't comment on it but sometimes houses aren't worth what people need for them. Open market value is only what someones prepared to pay for them. An estate agent just gives an opinion what they think it should be marketed for to gain open market value.
Plus I've seen offers on houses fall through due to surveyors saying the house isn't worth what's offered. Mortgage companies are telling them to value pessimistically not optimistically.
On the other hand you've only been on the market a week and had an offer which is very good so obviously your house must be desirable. Good offers for 1st week but probably estate agent needs to go on a customer service course.
