180 or 190

Not super imposed at all mate, it's just a wee bit o air i put under the back wheel:D

Or could it have been my stunted double:dunno

Make sure if you are gonna try it to get plenty of weight over the back wheel:thumbup

Ye eat a great big bowl o porridge and then get yer bagpipes oot, ye huff and ye puff till they are near burstin, then ye quickly apply the moothpiece tae the tyre valve and let it go till ye hear yer tyre squealing like a wee squealy thing, pop yer dust cap oan quickly before the squeal escapes and get yersel over thon mountain as quick as ye can tak yersel. If thon disnae work, ye tak a good two or three measures o Bruichladdich's finest 12 year old malt and hae anither go:thumbup

Let me ken hoo ye git oan:biggrin

When are bag pipes in season and do i have to shoot them, or catch them alive...

Performance bikes has a big article on RSV's this month..
they say
If you only do 1 thing to your RSV... fit a 180 rear tyre

well, thanks for that will take a look, had a 180 on it put a 190 on to see if much or any difference slowed the turn in by a minimal difference but is only noticable when flicking left to right at speed

Went from a 190 50 to a 190 55 on my 05 RSV. Massive improvement on turning. Didnt think it would fit mine for some reason but apparently its now standard sze on all the latest RSV models. Will definitly be keeping this size

Can anybody tell me where's that tire thread or is it tread? Anyway, I was debating between 180 vs 190 for a track day tire with the Pirelli guy at Calabogie this spring and upon serious consideration decided for a 180. The Superbikes run the 190, the 600 the 180, the superbikes have 185-190HP, the 600 are at 125-130 range. So the 180 was good enough for me as I did'nt want to loose the easy turn-in the bike already have, love.I did not regret my choice since the bike is even easier to flik than my racing SV in a chicane.

i prefer the 180 if its a rounder tire (diablo corsa), but a 190 on a taller tire (Power Pilot)
