180 or 190

No i was on the phone again to Italy:biggrin and Ferrari red and jet Black are the ideal mixture for a fast as Fu*% bike....... That includes in and out of corners for those Jap:jack:jack:loser

what about blue and fluro yellow ? :confused

Well well well..............going back to tyres....:cheers

I think that the question is 50 or 55 profile more than 180 or 190 width. The 55 profile offers more grip on the sides, both 180 and 190, and more flickable than the 50 profile. Do you want more milage get the 190/50, do you want less milage and more rubber down when cornering go with 180-190/55.

VR-8 i am happy talking about anything rather than tyres i am one of those that knows nothing and just rides until it needs to see the doctors.

Red and Black the way ahead:eatcorn:thumbup

heard rumors that orange and white add anor 10hp to your bike (each color add 5hp)

so, no doubt this is the fastest aprilias..:devious

I am just wondering what went wrong with your bike. You are only getting between 30-40 more hp over stock. That doesn't seem like much of a gain for a built forced induction engine. Looks like the old two valve Ducati 900 makes more power http://www.turbomonster.com/WaynePatterson-900ss.tpl .
Sounds like you are doing what ever you can to try and beat the 1000cc inline bike in a straight line race as long as they have a stock bike and are not good riders. I would recommend not racing and built 1000cc inline let alone one that has forced induction.

The newer profile 190 tires have no problem of turning in or holding lines. All of the top AMA teams or running on tires that are 190+ some over 200

There are a number of factors that come in to play with my "only 30-40hp gain"........If I reduce them to three they are:
1. My engine does not have an intercooler due to space, so the boost is low to be safe from detonation.
2. I have tried to get hold of an ignition retarder but no succes, therefore low boost.
3. Lifespan and reliablity is more important to gaining more power.

To the "sounds" you are talking about it's very easy........the RSV has the absolute best chassi, IMO, and the only thing missing is power. The inline4s has the power but the chassis is no way near the RSV. Conclusion......it's easier to increase engine power than weld a new chassi.

Jeez man, y'all got a weird sense of humor you Brit's, i have no idea what kind of **** y'all on!!

Cadwell is my favourite track, I know the bends well. I find Barn a bit scary, off camber needing a full throttle for the straight.
As for the mountain a very respectable amount of air :hail

Tiz that PJ, another couple
