My Factory IS faster because I have 170+rwbhp with my supercharger....and every bit of handling is just as it were before.....:biggrin

Hey all just thought (yes it hurts) my RSVR is ferrari red so that must be the fastest, unless someone has of course a canary yellow:puke which will obviously fly:devious:devious

Let's say this........I still have to learn to not wind the throttle wide open on exits of turns as I used to do with my "stock" Aprilia........she goes sideways asap if you think she is "stock". "Highsider" will be your middle name........

Besides.......the feeling of going WOT and passing my friend on his 2006 R1 is just the thing you guys won't get as long as you are normal aspirated.........

vr8 i have no problem destroying r1 or blades as me and rsvr47 did on saturday from the aprilia day but they are not standard...:thumbup

Good for you ............but without the power you don't have a chance on a R1 or gixxer-like bike....that's it. This is the main reason Aprilia riders put thousends of $$ in their bike on EVO6,filters,cams,bigbore etc etc......and still it comes to the point when the inline4's have more power, that the way it is. A lap on a circuit is more than power, it also includes skills of the rider, but a WOT race on a straight road is just power......nothing else. Then if the riders are different in the twisties so be it, I still have the power to accelerate away from gixxers whenever I like.......

And the 30hp diff with the 999F07 compared to the japs......look it up. The main reason Ducati wants 1200cc is that the level of performance out of the 999 engine is so high that the costs of rebuilding them is taking too much money. The v-twin engines in the current series have almost no regulations on tuning compared to the inline fours. That is the reason the Ducatis can still be competetive, not a magic v-twin powergrunt that is 30hp less......

No i was on the phone again to Italy:biggrin and Ferrari red and jet Black are the ideal mixture for a fast as Fu*% bike....... That includes in and out of corners for those Jap:jack:jack:loser
 
mate i think i need to apologize .read it the wrong way..i know about the ducatis £30,000 engine mods to be competetive and rebuild everytime they race. they also wanted the change as the road goin 999 is not competetive as a gsxr for the road so they didn't sell many thats there main reason for 1200cc so they can mass produce a road bike that can stay with the japs without the expense . please except my apology for me being blind:thumbup
