Thanks Stix, just wanted to share a concern .... I don't mean to be rude and ungrateful, I'm not after sympathy, it has at least allowed me to be picking up my V4T in 45 hours time :)
 
No problem with raising it TT, right thing to do in my opinion. Got to see the docs about my knackered knee (well, been meaning to go for about 4 months now...) so reckon I'll mention the heartburn at the same time to be on the safe side.

My mum played down "collywobbles" for a year or 2 and dieded of bowel cancer.

We (some more than others) abuse our bodies something terrible ...

Well I'm up drinking wine.

I'm presenting an award tomorrow to a deserving junior school pupil. Something I've been doing since 1993 after my friend was run over and killed. His mum decided she wanted to dedicate an award & asked me to present it.

Although it's a long time ago still makes me think. Paul you were a mad fecker but didn't deserve to go @ 21 :thumbup

me again, no reason apart from i fancied one, its turned oot a few more, bottle o red dispatched brandy in progress,wtf I am still on hols. TT quite right to share ur storey with everybody, most o us step too close to the mark with the snifters, some are luckey, some aint.
 
Well although I am off work I have been a good boy and not drunk anything since Sunday (see above!!).

However I will be sniftering tonight so expect some inane drivel from me later on peeps :thumbup
 
Monday and Tuesday dry nights tolerated, so few Stellas tonight.

Can have a fair few tomorrow night as off work on Friday. It's my oldest daughter's last day at primary school so we are going to her leavers service. No doubt I'll be getting choked up while all the hard-faced battleaxe mothers sit there chewing gum. I'll take me tissues.....:rolleyes
 
Been to a couple of those cry-fests. Take some tissues definitely! My two are in yr7 & yr8 so wasn't that long ago. Soon to be yr8 & yr9. **** where's the time gone.

I present an award every year as I said on an earlier post above. The leavers song makes the yr6s cry like flipping crazy!!
 
S, how many years do yer kids do in primary school ?
 
Alright A. 6 man. Yrs 1-6. Then comp yrs 7-13 max.

Sometimes do a reception year before yr1.
 
S,we do P1-7, then S1-6, start P1 at 5yrs end S6 at 18yrs, always wis a bit different up here. The old yin's were brought up on a staple diet of omega rich fish, high fibre serials and corry st etc

We've migrated to Buckie, Strongbow, Chippie fat sodden *****, pizzas, indians, chinkey's and any other fast food derivative we can cram in between our fat filled cheeks. Little wonder we won't have any Scotties in the engine room a few years fae noo. A jist feel good that neither of ma sprogs have paid any heid to their da's latter lifestyle, so I suppose there's still hope fir to-days kids.
 
Your nippers have deffinately not got the Fudgene Aldo mate. Your H,,,,,,,,,the little **** :),,,,,,,,must have the biggest Duracel battery ever in him, I reckon he's gonna bring a bit more than just amusement in to your life soon enough though. I went tae the wee yins Primary leaving service in June, the wife was greeting away and all I could think was there's twa hours I'll no get back. Forgot tae take ma heidfones, **** just thinking aboot it makes me need another lager
