as said,i ride fast,alot.
but im no mick doohan.
all top tyres will do the job,i have a list of good, recommended tyres and ill just get whichever is the best deal at the time.
my preference leans me to my favourite, bridgestones, never had a bad tyre from them and was glad to see a new set on the mille when i bought it.
i despise dunlops,nd although they may have improved, ill never buy a set of them ever again!
i deffo want dual compound next, bridgestone, michelin, avon or pirelli, ill be happy with either.i used to have old track day 180 rear tyres, but they no good for me,take to long to warm up and keep warm if im honest.

Just had the Pirelli Supercorsa Pro's fitted to mine and i can't believe i didn't have them fitted years ago I will say they may not be any good in the wet but i try not to use them in the rain but if you do get caught out in the rain then just take it steady in the dry what can i say OH MY GOD what grip............

i want free tyres lol

or tyres that last more than 2000 miles

i want to be able to change them myself and i wnat 2 sets of wheels, one with wets on and one for dry

until then i'll ride what i've got! lol

Big Un why do you hate dunplops if like me you had some bad experiences on the 208rr then i can say the qualifier rr is a lot better, but i must admit i am a fan of metzelers/pirellis (same compund/company)

just never had a good ride on dunlops, ever.
as i said,it may be in my head more than ewt now,but id never buy any.
my 98 r1 came with dunlops as standard,d207 i think and they were poo, switched to bridgestone bt010 and they were fantastic, then my 2003 r1 came with the next model of dunlops,208 iirc,as standard, changed them to the rr's,still couldnt get on with them,so i fitted metzler rennsports, very good tyre, but i always seem to come back to bridgestones and feel so much confidence from them.
very very tempted to try either the michelin 2ct of bridgestone 016 dual comp next.

I've had 2 sets of road pilot 2 2CT on my 05 rsv, i do about 15k miles per year and a track day, i think they are fantastic, the best bit for me is when u push the front u feel the handlebars vibrate a little just before it tries to let go, a nice early warning feature that has saved me a few times, esp. on a, not quite wet donnie track day.

Dunlop Daddy!

I am a Dunlop fan and have been for quite a while ::hail. In the past I have used D204,D205,D220st (on other bikes), D207RR,D208RR, D209GP and at prescent on my 01Mille R road bike Qualifier RR's. I find running 32psi front & 36psi rear to be good on the Dunlops, better feel and better mileage. I like the Qualifier RR's but to be honest I did prefer the D208RR's, I found these to be best on my Mille R.:inlove Didn't like the D207RR's that much.
I also use Dunlops KR106 Front & KR108 Ntec Rear slicks on my track bike.
Of coarse it is a personal opinion.
