Abergavenny
Ok then guys weathers fine (at the mo) so how's about a second gathering on the 9th. Same meet up place in Abergavenny an then Stix, gilo and myself have discovered a bloody good new route which takes us in a big circle probably using the best roads and scenery Wales has to offer. Who's up for a ride then?

My ride is going to Griffs on Friday 8 July, so I may just join you this time round unless there is something terminal with the bike.
And he lets me keep any of my money, (an easy place to spend money I hear)
:thumbup

Have you done the Newtown road Dave then on down to craven arms and leominster

Where y going to be fella. Like i said have to gonto christening this weekend. Thank god I've got next week
Off

Well looking forward to this now as not so sure I can do the august overnight wotsit now due to hols :(

I can honestly say Dave that these roads are Fing fantastic. Especially Crossgates - Newtown. Wow :thumbup

Count me in ...

Unless it's chucking it down.

I can't make the August do due to getting ready to go away next day as it seems

"Just how do you think I am going to get me, you and the kids packed ... and look after my ******* parents while you are off riding round Wales on your bloody motorbike"

Means "No".

Sharp as a tack me

certainly enjoyed the last roads i was on, will really try to make this one and enjoy some more !!
Can you arrange a decoy for plod ??

Yes no prob. Instead of me & Roly going the completely wrong way we'll send a big lad instead :thumbup

I think Stix and gilo will agree the roads we've done last few times are not the ones the plod usually hang around on. Was gonna dona different route if there were only 2 or 3 of us but will prob do the one we've done last couple of times

Just before I get too pissed yes the roads are ******* fab. Twisty, no cops and generally ace :thumbup

Oh and I'm a bit pissed now. Support all teachers ;)

Is Roly gonna come on this one then?
Looks like less interest than last time so might only be 4 or 5 of us. Anyroads weathers warmer and if the roads are dry will be awesome day. Bit of a longer run than last time with coffee stop in Crossgates and I reckon if the weather is hot hot hot might be occasion fora quick Shandy.

Anyone want to know the route so they can have a look at it on the maps or are you willing to trust my judgement!!!

I'd like to see the route please

Well I'll tell you what it is newelly. From Abergavenny to Brecon. Different route from here which takes us up over Lower Chapel and Upper Chapel to Builth Wells and then onto Crossgates. This is the coffee stop instead of the one in Llandovery. Crossgates onto Newtown (probably one of the best roads in the world lol). From here we head off to Craven Arms and Leominster (pint of Shandy). Depending how long we've chatted for we can either go the long way back or the short way (we usually go the short way) to Hereford and back to Abergavenny.

11am start time.

I should see Roly tomorrow night (cards night in my gaff this week) so I'll ask him then.

Off

It's the kids' school fair which I can probably duck out of, but I may also have an all-day session over in Bath with a mate, that I don't want to duck out of :thumbup
