Bat, Thanks for the info. The entertainment is distracting, but the info still comes. Appreciate the many responses. It's fun to read as you figure watt I am all about. Yes, I've found both sites to be informative. I find this place is on equal footing, so why have the same thing repeated to me. WATT am I in for on some of these dashboard ideo's? The CAN was responding well to my mistakes. And did you say that map 2 drops the 02 sensor out of the loop? I'm licking my chops. That is sort of my territory.

The main reason I bought the bike was to learn 02 or closed loop, meaning. I made a huge mistake and would not let the dealer repair my bike. Instead, I bought the part outright rather than have warranty repair it for free. That part right there was my [open loop] schooling. Figured I jump in on some Ape 101. I have the simple cure for that map-2 in fact. Technically, we run both loops in open loop. My understanding is that if we WOT the throttle, that sends one signal. If there is no 02, the replacement sensor is reading that one number, meaning. Kind of easy to understand, complicated the next.

And are we laughing about some gear shift indicator? Isn't there a way the Axone can plot a new gear number for rim or wheel circumference? I have to rely on someone proficient with the Axone and was told not too many can work a PC let alone the Axone? Sad, no? I must add, I never owned a PC, so I am clueless as to mapping. Hacking?; well, that's a whole new animal. Stay tuned like here it comes:

What you don't hear is me discussing the rasp or that paper flair you see leave that pipe. Can't show you with air, so do I hear a rasp'tinny sound out of the pipe? Yes, at least I can hear or sense a bad note. Does it make a difference? Beats me. You looked at it as my playing with an orifice and that is pretty funny how I am setting up bike for say who needs money. Let me ask you, if you had a pipe and cam and all that, someone on a 600 whoops your butt, did that pipe and cam help? This is way more bike than I can handle.

Have I tested what others have tried? Yes I have. Do I continue to apply the smoothing technique to this puppy? Again, right out of the crate, I'm modding this guy and have no clue how it would run where I was popping out the throttle body and I cannot ride something like this. Way too dangerous is the gov putting me at risk! I believe so if you rode it as is.

In other words, what I am doing to a computer bike is about all I can do being you tamper with a computer bike, it goes into a safe mode or limp mode or fail-safe mode.

What you are witnessing is the evolution that is about take place as I find some wheel standing light throttle = Grunt Map! In other words, what the translation problem is = I speak computer bike speak. All you see on my vids are me wasting your minutes but they are my 'mule runs ~ hacking-smoothe bike.' I had 72 videos up but so as not to shock the members, I toned it down to about 17?

no your not, there are power commanders and aftermarket ecu's.
 
First you need to switch to open loop, correct? Therefore, you go to your dealer and they Axone to map2, correct?
 
Aftermarket ECU's are a different animal. No offense, but I'm "mr. stocker" and more challenge the EU idiotsitting me on a dangerous bike is sue the lot of them for tampering with emissions and putting me in jeopardy! Get that actuator or stepper motor out of my face is aim me right at granny? No way hosesay can you see my tubes hanging?

Well, that means you and Dragon are sort of on the same page or in the same pit, as opposed to an AMA pit boss that is on the other side with a banner already to take protest and take my engine down or buy it. I have no clue?

Do you mean the ping or the rear brake pads never being used in that video? That was sort of the ha-ha, me being a rubber prop is myself being the guy riding along and now someone comes along telling me how to ride my bike? That is just as funny as saying how to tune my bike for AMA racing or FIM them off the trailer come get some.

I was breaking in the Tuono and a porsche screams past me. The lanes were closing down to one lane. Up ahead, there was another one soon. I could hear him revving the car up so I was more speeding up from behind so I could time that sucker's move. Sure enough, he pulls out and hammers it. I'm already reading his taillight maker's 'Made in ****'. WOT does he do? Instead of showing why he bought that car, he pulls over to the right lane and stands down. The lane was closing so I had to crank it over and that's when I had this big fat smile on my face that It was my first kill was a peeorch was piss all over that driver tell me how to ride the throttle angle.

My old lady has been with me for 36 years and to this day, she does not understand me when I talk to her. She had a good line but I forgot it? Something like an, 'uncomfortable conversation' was sort of the drift. So, don't feel you are alone. That computer bike took me for a loop. Crashed one of my test bikes learning the computer. Long story but I woke up schooled to open loop sort of the; Closed Loop the Hard Way 101. I may have had a USA education, but I was looking out the window when school was in session. If I only paid attention is paying for it now.
