Right chaps, I'm back from France and looking forward to this weekend. Just got to take it easy(ish) on the Saturday night so I'm in a fit state to ride on Sunday - never ridden in North Wales so looking forward to checking out all those roads I've heard about.
Tricky - what time do you reckon we'll be back at Crossgates? Just so's I can give the missus a rough time I'm likely to be home. Cheers.

Yeah cracking, weather was a mixed bag but had enough sun to top up me tan and get mistaken for Gilo Patel. Decent wine for under 2 Euros - gotta love France :thumbup (everything else was well pricey though, poxy exchange rate shafting us).

reckon Bay's right, I'd say about 3.00ish in crossgates, depends on what everybody wants to do about lunch whether it be leisurely at a pub or need to eat & an icecream at crossgates cafe.

Completed second half of planned route today. should take about 31/2hrs riding time in total. So if we get away for 11.00am then I propose we stop for lunch at Rhayader between 2.30 & 3.00 then people can start peeling off whenever it suits. Going to open thread on AP performance forum opening invitation with proposed route, I know there's a few interested.
As Garry Ash won't be stopping Saturday night there is a room free. Nob I'm holding one for you, not sure if you want it or not let me know as the week goes on.

Think I'll put him in the room on landing as easier to get him up the stairs to bed when he's legless.
