i would like to thank those involved for all there hard work for the aprilia weekend butwhy should they bother ?
there are obviously reasons why people dont attend and there is also i'm sure alot of people who can't be arsed either i myself travelled in a monsoon at 48mph with my son on the back all the way from london piss wet through to get to little1uk's house and have to say it was worth it ! on this forum the amount of people who live in the northampton area is unbelievable and didn't even pop in to say hello:dunno
well is it worth it next year stew-sharky?
rant:rant over have a nice day!!!!!!!!111

I understand your frustration mate, I am planning a rideout and have had little uptake from both zone forums, I guess everyone is busy doing their own thing this year

greed, its understandable, but other factors venture into these things dude.
theres nothing id have liked more than to have popped along.
several issues prevented that,1 being cash, having been off sick for 3 months and only getting £300 a month to live on,2 being in the middle of buying a house which should have been completed last weekend when the show was, only to be let down and havethe stress of hoping ill be this wk end now, meantime the solicistors fees are ever increasing, taking whats left of my wifes wages, which we need for food, bills, fuel ect ect
3 being work, constantly on the night shift, and having to go to bed every morning till dinner time at least, then working on the doors at wekend nights rules out alot of these shows/rideouts.
its not always down to simply deciding i cant be arsed to show support and turn up mate.
the day looked great, was well organised and you guys put a hell of alot into and yes it deserved a far better turnout to show thanks.
as ive said,im pissed to have missed it,and ill be fooked off if i cant make the next one.
soz you feel fukd off mate, but so do i!!

i love this forum, its fantastic, cos i couldnt make it doesnt mean i dont care.
im stuck with not only when i can get a ride out due to being fukd from wok,but also when i can afford it these days, till im back on full money.

Tis a fact I guess. Personally I get very few days off for long rides with me and the missus both working opposite shifts and having 3 small folk to look after too. Nearly all of my rides are breakfast runs coz I generally need to be home by 12:30 to get my daughter from preschool. And to be honest I didn't know it was an RSVZONE thing until I viewed the pics last night. I saw the thread about the Aprilia day but did not know it was our lot and didn't read it. One of those things I guess buddy. The pics look good tho and you seem to have had a great time. Really sorry I was not able to be there.

not being funny mate ! but this was planned last year and was constantly on threads as i was involved in the way of clothing i ask myself is it worth the hassle and time..... the event keeps getting bigger and bigger i mean two bands / the aprilia experience uk was there with bikes and taz motorcycles with demos! beer tent big barbeque great venue etc.......i think even club aprilia were dissappointed aswell and will this type of event continue?

mate i'm not having a go at anybody but just thought it was a poor showing!!
its like the rideouts are people afraid to meet other people? i dont know?
everybody who we have met from this forum are top blokes i know people are busy i have three kids one is a baby but everybody needs to blow off steam and have some down time aswell!

i would also add in the undecisive british weather affecting if people would come or not

sorry matey but i live about as far north west as you can get. so as much as i would love to have a rideout with you guys its not likely to happen unless i come into some serios cash or become single

understand where you are coming from big un .. everybody's circumstances are different i know but there is over 1000 members and when 10 turn up is it worth the time and effort that went into it from the people involved ?
(THE PROBLEM WITH THIS THREAD IS EVERYBODY IS GOING TO SAY WHY THEY COULDN'T COME WHAT HAVE I STARTED:lol)

lol,i feel guilty now,and i think whatever people put, itll come across as an excuse.
im currently suffering the most stressful and financialy poor period of my life.
the more i ride the bike, the more she moans, took £18 to fill yesterday ffs!!
wouldnt be so bad if i was getting my normal wage.

im off to cry now,i feel ashamed.lol

Did only 10 members really turn up.

I made no secret of the fact I couldn't attend, but I agree that is poor.

all ive said it was a poor showing and some people want to shoot me :lol:lol

Had family stuff to do so i could'nt make it...as for ride-outs i have spoken to loads of riders and most who dont go on the ride-outs on any forum is because they dont want to go riding round at stupid warp 2 speeds......sorry to say this is a common problem

undertsand that mate thats what we were thinking but that said we always go as slow as people want and yes some of us do scream of for a play and some kneedown action but always wait mate because you have to cater for the faster riders aswell as the slower ones but anybody will tell you they are always good and even the people who went to france will say that aswell

As a member, I'm not sure I like being told off like this RS3mille. I doubt your comments are making people feel very confortable. I've posted several threats in the meetups/ride outs section to meet at boxhill and never ever I have received a response. Also I've posted threads where responses or comments have been Zero. Yet, I haven't rant...yet! People join the club for different reasons and I don't think is right to have a go at the whole community just because you're not happy with the turnover of this event and rideouts. I go often to boxhill at the weekends so I'm up for a ride (I'm slow though) :thumbup

not tellin anybody off just saying what a poor turnout?
always out around london mate so rideouts arnt a problem go all over

I'm not a fast rider and spanner/stew will vouch for my shiney knee sliders. Now if the fast riders want to blat off i dont mind, just means they get to wait for me a few miles up the road :)

I ride to my own abilities, not to anyone else's no matter what kind of pressure they put on me.
