I have a 2016 Tuono Factory.

When I twist the throttle the light of the engine management lights up. What could be wrong?

Could be a lot of things need to go back to dealer to be told really

I've already made an appointment with the dealer. But I have some trust issues with him. That's why I hoped one of you had an answer.

It is impossible to answer your question as it would need a diagnostic check.

You can do this yourself if you buy a couple of cables and download Guzzidiag.

It's a free program and you can plug your bike in and run diagnostic checks as well as do throttle learning and handle learning amongst other things.

Well worth it.

another +1 on guzzidiag, lonelec have the right odb cables for your bike!

Free program. Yes. But i could never get it to connect with my 2016 Tuono Factory. It could have been windows professional on our toshiba laptop. Tried two set of cables. No Joy. That sucks you cant trust the dealer you bought bike from.

I would disagree with this.

Use Guzzidiag before the trip to the dealer especially if you don't trust them.

If you already know the error codes and they hit you with ******** you can quote the codes to them and correct their error.

Rizla fully agree with your post :thumbup but imo there cant be any ******** if its fixed under warranty Bike fixed no charge no problem, doesn't matter what they do to fix it right. no mention in OP about any damage, bike being dropped misused so what's to loose. By the time the cables have come the bike could be at the dealer! possibly being fixed, or can you buy the leads at shop in town? not owning any myself I presume its a mail order job?
I am lucky though I have a great dealer and a good relationship with them, which I know is not always the case and this does create a reluctance to use and trust them.
Also not everyone is technically minded to use Guzzidiag or have access to it or other automotive diagnostic equipment, but we all assume because we/I can use it then everyone can use it.
Hope it fixed soon John V still some riding days left this year be a shame to miss out on them.

The dealer checked the bike for 1,5 h. When he was done, he came to me, smiling , and told me nothing's wrong... He just didn't tell me I was lying. The problem has been solved, for now.

Did they charge you for doing nothing?

If I hazarded a guess, it was probably a poor connection from a sensor to the ECU. As engine revs increased the ECU detected mis-matched data triggering the Engine Management light.
