Have read in the local press that police (and other emergency services) will be at Squires tomorrow (and other regular bike meeting places) its a road safety campaign but you still may want to be aware they're there / in the vicinity .......

Good rideout today fellas! :thumbup

Went down some brilliant roads, shame the rain (and the oncoming traffic!) spoiled some of them :roll

At least none of us hit any sheep! :biggrin

Cracking rideout chaps on some great roads :doug

Thanks to Beechy for leading the way to Malton to meet Boyler & Dawn and all his mates :biggrin

Great turnout from the forum, now lets see if i can remember everyone

Beechy, Brooky, Boyler ( and Dawn), Superted, moggi, windy (from af1) rsvatast, Mutts nuts, rsvr64, Mark58 (and Chris) and myself, you can imaging the noise that lot made :doug

Pace was plenty quick enough for me (sometimes a bit too quick :biggrin who invented tight corners :rant:biggrin)

Must say i was impressed with the Tuono boys throwing those bikes about, that windy is bloody quick  i think our Beechy had him tho' :devious :thumbup

Rode home from Bridlington at snails pace after it was pointed out to me how bad it had got :roll

But got home all safe and sound looking forward to the next time fellas :thumbup

Excellent ride out fellas. Thanks for organising it.:thumbup
Was good to put names to faces etc. Hope you Lincoln, Howden, Donny lads etc liked our roads.:devious
Only downside all day was the weather on the way back. Rode with the southern lads back towards Beverley and we rode through some pretty heavy showers which knocked the pace back a bit - then I doubled back to York via Malton and a f@@king monsoon blew in. I've never ridden through anything like it even cars were pulling off the road to let it subside. Water and all manner off crap was washing across the roads in rivers at every field entrance well above my wheel rims - what a sorry mess the bike looked by the time I hit York. :puke:puke
And before you say it it wasnt too clean to start with I know.:rant

Cheers lads, good ride, them sheep freaked me out.

Beechy how hard was that rain , they were like friggin golf balls.

moggi- thanks for that exhaust bolt i borrowed i will get a replacement and launch it back to you.

good ride out. Thanks to Martin (mutts nutts) for organising:thumbup.

nice to put faces to names although I'm crap at remembering names.

Will try and organise a run out derbyshire one sunday if anyone interested?

Well, thought the least I could do was register and say thank you to all for a great rdie out. Sorry can't remember all the names.....Moggi I know from AF1 site and Martin from Thorne are the only two. Great bunch of peeps, but I should have known that because you all ride aprillia's, hope you all enjoyed the rest of the day and hope you don't mind if I join you again on the next run.

I'd like to say a big thanks to the lad that lead most of the way, very fast, good lines and no backing off for corners, which is good because i like a bit of close quarter riding, he was safe though with no dodgy overtakes and kept the speed under check through the villages, respect!

Cheers

What was wrong had you forgotten yer wellies??:dowhat

Beechy how hard was that rain , they were like friggin golf balls.

I thought so too, its then when you realise its not much of a fairing. But honest to god when i turned round and left you and Moggi at Beverley I headed back to Malton and it was like the end of the world - couldnt see 30 yds and the road must have been 6 or 7 inches deep through Dalton at the bottom of the hill:rant All the crap being washed across the road ended up on my bike - even the speedo was caked in mud:puke

Thanks mate enjoyed your company - all safe but enthusiastic is the way :biggrin

You're pretty close by so if you fancy a run out (a large group ride or a small group) get in touch. I'm a bit hit and miss on the interweb so if you're up for it we can exchange mobile numbers.

Same to everyone else by the way, hope to see some of you / all of you soon :thumbup
