hi all
after a 400ml round trip Ive Just got my self a 2005 rsv r, very happy with it, however after riding 3 hrs on the way back, the bike started to cut out and i noticed the side stand light coming on when it was doing it,,
So stopped at local services had a play around the side stand but nothing seemed disconnected or faulty. but i did notice some poorly wrapped wires running to it.
i continued on my way and had the efi warning light temporally come on, im guessing this was due to the bike cutting out, ??
however i did about 100 ml after the inspection and little movement of the wires, and all seemed good had no cutting out or warning lights ?
if this becomes a persistent problem after just getting the bike, is there a way of bypassing the side stand ?
Take two:: been out again a day after the above issue, today spent the hole day out and about on the nice Wiltshire roads :devious , and didn't have any of the issues faced as the day befor ???
However and this might be just me,, bike has done 26000 mls and seems to have a bit of a rattly tappy noise. i only notice it when its idling or stopped in traffic , and never having a twin with this kinda mlg on it was wondering if its normal.
Is there any one local to me Warminster or surrounding areas, that could take a look and give there opinion as im not that tec minded...
