2004 RSV Factory - side stand issue

Hi

I got my beatyful RSV 6 months ago. But my side stand is very hard to handle on the way out when sitting on the bike. It is oiled, so I think it's something with the springs. There is 2 of them; inner and outer. Is that normal; 2? Any tip?

Not sure what you mean by hard to handle? Is the bike a euro or US spec bike?
If it’s a euro one then you either need a USA side stand as they sit at a much better angle. Failing that a Honda fire blade stand fits and improves the bikes angle.

Also a Honda Blackbird works when yer open oot the wee hole tae 6mm dia,,,,,,,completely forget what year though.
