Hey Guys,

Im very new to this forum, and to Aprilia's. I just got my rsvr 1000 registered about two weeks ago.

I have been reading this thread, and it made think. I must be the luckest man in the world. I can go down stairs into my garage and look at my bike, and just that makes me smile.

I just love my bike. With its scratches and dinged exhuast, it doesnt matter. I dont care if its the fastest, best corning, biggest, smallest or even pink. As long as the F@#ker starts.

I think most people got straight into defending their bikes and missed the point of what started the thread. Just the simple fact the GSXR on paper had more torque than the RSVR. I must admit that i thought the V-twin would have more torque. But it doesnt........... Ok im over that fact now.

Lets just all come to the realization we could have bought cheaper, faster bikes. But instead we bought a bike thats expensive on parts, which has a heavy clutch and is a ***** to find neutral. To me, those are not downfalls they are what makes the bike.

I love the fact my bike sounds like a pissed off lion roaring to its pack.

I love the fact that i never see another one when i go for a ride.

But most of all i love the fact that i have a bike at all.

Hear, hear fella, know where your coming from, but some of us on here, can't do the serious bit,sorry..:thumbup

I ride a GSXR1000 K6 yes it's fast and with the bits ive taken off it weighs about as much as a match box its not a common model as only 200 Phantoms were made. i do ride fast when i feel in the mood but i'm not a ****** or a sheep like some people have us categorised. I like the ride of it. I also like the ride of the RSV i prefer the look of the Aprilia and the sound. V twin in Line four who care's we are all biker's enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i got paid out for my written off RSV i could of had almost any bike i wanted for less than £6k. Soon as the check hit my hand i had another old shape RSV delivered :thumbup

I changed my suspension setting yesterday and had one of the best runs out ever. 20bhp down on a GSXR or not It was wicked! And have you seen the top yokes, wheels, suspension, frame, exhausts, shape and heard the sound and felt the handling of the RSVR???

The GSXR can suck my plums!

Why would you want a GSXR to suck your plums????????????:confused .I wish it could i would ride it all day long!!! I have a wife to suck mine!!! [well on a good night] :thumbup 20bhp up or 20bhp down dont matter to me i just enjoy the ride :biggrin In fact i have a drz400 with about 40bhp and i just love that thing:inlove
