Well if buying a V4 turns you into a complete know it all cock and based on this thread alone, it does, I might be avoiding them.

Based on your observation Whiskey, I think I may have the wrong bike.
I don't even know what back tyre to buy next. Any suggestions?
BTW.... Just noticed your near my neck of the heather, I am by Thurso, about 20 miles west of it, what's your approximate location?

Riding up here is good as the roads are empty, but the sociable aspect is a bit sparse as there aren't any proper meets.
I occasionally go down to tarvie as there's a good buttie bar
But looking for other gatherings.
John o Groats has the odd German !!
Don't mind doing proper miles either, I moved up here for the roads and the rivers.
Bizarrely there is another V4 just around the corner from here.

Normally I would mate…..your a bit out of my known roads tho and I'm sellin my T so tryna keep it in good and nice uncrashed nick!! :)…..Inverness to Ullappol, quite amazing how fast it is from end to end, love it, Ft Bill to Inverness is a bendy fast, if busy, hoot! Loop from Ft Bill to Glen Moriston and back to Ft Bill is mental fast on the quiet bits….spoilt for choice really round here, Glencoe, Tyndrum, Arrochar, Invereraray and then back to Oban and Ft Bill or Tyndrum and back to Ft Bill are amazing too, no better roads in the country really…..well maybe but, nah there aint!!! :)

I agree, roads your way are ace. I was in Glencoe a few weeks back.
Quickly getting used to doing good miles in pursuit of fun living here.
