If it actually happens, then surely it should take on a brand new name as TUONO is V-TWIN & not V-4 .

yer yer yer Here we go, My ones bigger than yours... it looks ugly not as good as the original, its not a real tuono, i think the originals better... None of yer have rode one yet but yer always get the Experts. ITS UGLY.. Excuse me (All bloody Tuonos are weired looking) thats what most of us love about them/ and if this new model aint a shout in your face as to what it is. Go to Specsavers. Allthough thinking about it, suppose there will be coments about last years Frames being better than this years Frames.. I give up. Chow babys..

Well the 60 degree twin is a thing of the past so we'd all better get used to them. I like my tuoldo and love riding it. Wouldn't change it for a newer one but if I do change it it'll prob be for a bike that fits me as good as this one. I think the newer one may be a bit small for me so I might have to go for a different Aprilia.

Yahoo Bloody rode one today at ON YER BIKE. First thing the sound track when your rideing OH YER. Leave well alone recon would spoil it with noisier can. Wont tell ya how fast i got out of it untill some inconsiderate motorist bulked me. But the salesman knows as theres a trip top speed recording on the many gadjets. Said id been rather naughty. The wheely Limit gadjet works a treet. Makes me a wheely tosser look like i knew what i was doing. Dodgy bits?? The seat is the bloody hardest thing iv ever sat on, Fuel injection has a few probs and i mean it aint right, Missed a gear twice it stayed in the original gear. Might have been me. Felt a clicking in the clutch lever on every downchange. Felt like the cable was routed wrong. Found the rideing position was more radical than the tuono twin. Ifelt high up arse wise and when giving the front stoppers a good tug, felt as if it was going to do its own stoppy. Plus one headlight bulb cover fell off and dissapered. I know its sounds like im slagging it off but i did gen love it. but i wouldnt buy the first model think id wait untill the Factory Model fitted with the A.B.S COMES OUT AND THEY RE Chip the fuel injection. Theve got Bosch developing a race type A.B.S But oh what a machine, One final observation it REALY HAS THE LOOKS THAT ONLY A MOTHER COULD LOVE. But hey we cant all be good looking. Have got next week off so will ask for another go on it instead of the 30min ride allowed today. Because it was booked solid..

Ta. But every now and again hit return twice, it'll then be so much easier to read :)

Sorry. I'm an IT lecturer. By a distance the worst part of my job is marking work :(

It has ABS , traction setting etc on the one at the Rocket centre .

A good looking mean looking bike and I want one.
I sat on it and felt that the seat was as hard as mine but the bars were a touch lower. Again , no need to pig about with bits .

Gets my vote and am now saving my pennies.

Sorry Sunshine but it (Pardon my English) AINT. Fitted. The electronic display has been set up for future fitting of A.B.S. I think what you saw was Italian for Absolute Butt. Soreness. Any customer buying the Non Trickery Model had better show due respect to the throttle or be fully paid up members of B.U.P.A. After my invoulantry 60mph Stoppie trying an emergency stop yesterday, I personaly will def need ABS. The front brake set up is Awesome plus the bum up in the air and head over the front wheel riding position is going to need Frequent visits to the Gym to keep your arm muscles in trim... Not that anyones interested but in my opinion without the Trickery bits,, I think the engine and the present fuel injection set up, outperforms the bike surrounding it plus lets be honest, most of us. Iv just thought of a better discription of the riding experience.. Its like riding a 162bhp K.T.M. Motor Cross bike with controling electronic safety equipment fitted.. You think im joking, well wait to you ride it,, and be honest with yourself are you good enough. Cos i aint.. Think i will stick with the Diavel.

Yeah, but what about the 50cc and 125cc Tuono's?They were 2 stroke singles. Its just the name Aprilia have given to their range of naked streetfighter style bikes.
Not much 'thunder' from the tiddlers,......more ring-a-ding-ding!:lol

How do you mean ,"it AINT fitted" ?. It was on the bike for all to see. I know what ABS is and what it looks like .

AND , I AINT called SUNSHINE.

No you aint as bright as sunshine thats for sure. For the ill informed, may i suggest you visit Specsavers as being as observent as you are. The so called rings you saw on the bike AINT I REPEAT AINT ABS Rings there for the Traction control. So what ya got to say about that Mr Magoo. Any thing else you got to pass on to the rest of us. Keep it, The sunshine bit wernt having a go at you its just a saying of mine and a lot of londoners. So dont be so Touchy. Lighten up Bruvv Yer i know i aint ya Bruvv. And please dont go out on a Demo Cos you could end up on ya arse when you try the ABS. Good luck

Hector I had test ride on the one in the Rocket Centre. When the salesman was running through the controls and displays he said that light there is for the ABS to say it as been calibrated. Is he wrong? has it got ABS?
I was only allowed to follow Stuart from Rocket Centre on another bike on my test ride. Think it was insurance that the bike would come back rubber side down.
I will be going back for another test ride when I can take it out on my own and tyres have been scrubbed in.
You would have to be a good brave rider that buys one without all the toys ( APRC)
Yes the seat is like a plank!

The ring is very similar , even exactly the same as the ones on my Tiger which has ABS.

Having just re read the MCN report it seems I am wrong (and misinformed) , the Aprc does NOT have ABS capabilities as yet. Not until next year anyway.

I therefore accept I was in the wrong.
To call someone sunshine is belittling up here , we have a lot of high horses

Hi emmo. think hector is on a visit back to his Ducati Forum, or at Specsavers getting a two for one deal. Think your Rocket Centre ought to stick to selling Rocket Salads. I took a all tricky bits attatched demo out on my own. and it def aint got abs. BOSCH are in advanced stages of developing a system for Aprilia and at a guess it will be fitted to the always produced Factory version. But hey who am i to doubt hectors knowledge.. Am eagerly awaiting his reply..

Give it up

:bangheadNo no no hector the round ring with itsy bitsy holes in it send signals to the traction control and when they do fit abs they will then also send signals to the abs,, an easy mistake hector,, Ill give you that

O. K. HECTOR. AS I SAID ITS EASY TO MAKE THAT ASSUMPTION WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE RINGS. Dont take offence as i do tend to live up to my forum name and do tend to excell in sarcastic post. I think im funny thats why i was banned from the Rocket 111 OWNERS Forum twice. Catch ya later
