Well if he dont let us I'm sending my cousin round to lop 2 cylinders off that yammyharhar thing he owns !!

Where do the forum members stand using the rsvzone logo crashrd?

Im considering sorting some polo shirts for the forum if theres enough interest and its ok?

:biggrin

Would anyone be interested in polo shirts with RSVZone Embroidery Logo then if it were ok?

:inlove

am pretty free to suggestions ( dont wanna stand on toes ) but deffo XXL as anyone who has seen me will vouch, I have one hell of a gut to cover :) :jack:jack:jack:jack:jack

ok, since i've had several people PM me about making things for RSVzone, I'll say what I need to say in public.

First of all, let me say I love the fact that there's so much interest in this. Clearly, we have a die-hard community here. And I'm game for having RSVzone apparel available to you guys so you can help whore our logo around at your local ride/track/hooliganating.

However...

I've probably had 10 different situations on the 4 sites I own where people want to make something with our logo and sell it to members. And they almost always end with more headache than they should, and not that I'm just out here to make a quick buck, but the site almost never sees any money, and usually I end up holding the bag on a nasty situation, while the produced skirts off with a couple hundred-thousand dollars, never to be seen again.

So....

My life is made easy when I setup something like cafepress, which doesn't have great quality, and doesn't make anyone except cafepress a whole lot of money. But, they've never not delivered, and I've never had a complaint.

Now...

If one of you boys wants to take on the job of providing a full service merchant shop: hats, polos, t-shirts, hoodies, fleeces, thongs, whatever, that will process payment and all that, I'll be more than happy to license the RSV logo over to you for that use.

Who is up to the task?

-:banana

No worries crashrd i understand what your saying these things can end up being a pain in the back side!

Unfortunatly im in no position to set up some sort of shop selling various rsvzone merchandise was only considering T-shirts/Polo's because of the recent interest!

Thanks for letting me know anyway's :thumbup

I'm in a positon too if everyone agree's. I have sorted products out for a mag group in the past and have aleady found a supplier who can do embroidery for a good price and the quality is top notch, as we use them for our uniforms at work.

Only things they havn't got listed are slippers, thongs and poo bags, so sorry to the geriatrics out there.

Wot says you.

If I can't have slippers I'm not playing. :biggrin

Sounds good to me Beanie and good on you for stepping up - although I think you need to do a bit of market research before you get yourself deep into it.
If you can get some idea of prices and post them up here, then you can gauge reaction (as Hooked did with his airbox). Lots of people say they're up for buying stuff but if it's too pricey, then suddenly you'll find it all goes eerily quiet!
Maybe crashtd can let you know (roughly) the number of regularly active members so you can see how big the market is.

Go Beanie Go!!!

Get some samples made up and post them up on a thread and I'll have a couple of T shirts and fleeces off you. (Maybe even more)

Cheers for doing this for the forum, much appreciated by me anyway.

just an idea but why dont you consider printing some iron on logo's ?that way the quality of the tea shirt/hoodie/toilet seat cover is up to the end user and wont back fire on you . and manufacturing cost will be low enough to start with and to see how much interest you get .

Got some ball park figures to go with already:

These are only rough and may go up or down by a couple of quid. once we have figures for the total amount of item ordered, then the prices should come down as it would reduce the set up cost of getting the logo setup.

We only have to pay the setup fee once which is £30.

I need to double check with the supplier but i believe he said It costs an extra £1.50 per 1000 stitches after the logo per item, so if you wanted your name or something under the logo, then you would need to add that as well.

Will let you know on monday what the clarification is on that one.

Prices for the garments would be:

Round Neck T-Shirts £5
Polo's £8
Sweatshirts £10
Hoodies £13.50
Fleeces £15
Beanies £3.50 (I'm Soooo Cheap)
Baseball caps £15

Payment could be done either through a website shop my mate can set up, or direct through paypal, although the buyer would need to cover the paypal charge for the money transfer.

Postage i can arrange anywhere in the world as i have a parcelforce account i use for posting lots of items, again that would need to be added at the end.

I am not doing this to make money for me, i'm doing it for all of us, as following bristol, it was hard to tell who was from the zone and who was a ducati owner once everyone was away from their bikes, and this seems like a perfect way to do.

Any surplus funds that come about i would split between Crashtd, as he has kindly given us the right to use the logo, and it's only fair he gets some payback for his hardwork he puts into the forums/sites, and a biking charity such as mag or nabd.

Feedback please guys, what do you reckon, enough interest, or should i just go down the iron on patch thing.

BoB - I will find out about slippers for you on monday, as for the poo bag, if they start trying to stitch it, i believe i will leak, and nobody on here will want to be near you when that happens, whether you are wearing a logo on it or not.:thumbup

Those are excellent prices, better than the recent quotes i got.

Ill be up for a couple of garments beanie :biggrin

Put me down aswell Beanie for some polos for the TT and a hoodie or 2, cap etc.

Whats the wait time for em ?
