Exely there is some truth in what you say but i think anyone who thinks all laws especially traffic laws are there for the road users benefit is deluded.

A lot of the problem comes in the enforement of the law which undermines it's existance as a deterrent.
How can someone who robs your house or mugs an old lady get a sentence softer than someone doing 120mph on his bike but not hurting anyone. :dunno

i know the potential for a 120mph crash etc etc but we all know traffic enforcement is an easy target for both revenue and meeting targets.
i tour every year with 2 police officers from Bristol. They tell me exactly the same thing that it's easy to meet your enforcement figures by nicking you for 5 mph over the limit but catching the scrote who nicked your car is hard work.

Adult nappies? Imagine being able to take a **** whereever and whenever you like - in the pub, in meetings, in Tesco. My two year old looks pretty happy on it.
Be really surprised if they deployed the cop chop on speeding patrol mate - they currently run at about £2K an hour to keep in the air.
My mate (civvie pilot) flew the South Wales chopper for a while and says that the SW pursuit cops are under standing orders not to chase bikes as they have had so many thieving toerags smack themselves up while trying to escape. (Er, can't advise any SW residents to test this out themselves!)

I wouldn't mind one my bikes getting nicked, if the little **** :jack killed themselves:doug, saves them getting caught and a little slap on the wrist or a free holiday at every other tax payers expense.

My insurance company would pay for my bike, and one more of the little ***** wouldn't exist any more:doug:doug:doug.
