I only really kicked off and let my feelings known properly after I was told I would be search under the terrorism act. Words were exchanged, a scuffle broke out but I went quietly (ish).

Apparently not but my bike registration will now come up with a "linked to terrorism" marker on the police number plate recognition system. One of the things my solicitor is having removed as we speak hopefully.

wiskin...cassy is canceled but everbody is still going...the pub and locals are expecting bikes, so i hear on the grapevine

Below is the response from someone I know in the anti-terrorism branch of one of our finest. I hope you dont mind, I sent them your original post ( with no names or info as to where it came from)


"Sec 44 *TACT is the power to stop and search for terrorism and you don't have to have specific grounds BUT it does have to be reasonable. Unless there was an alert for a bike riding leather wearing suspect then its not reasonable. If I were him I would put in official complaint. "

I can only assume as they said to me that because of the style of bike I was riding etc etc, that they had a call about something terrorist associated and a motorbike?

Some of who are quite obviously in the wrong job. And no, I'm not anti police.
Just anti bad attitude wherever it rears it's head.
