I may have missed the for sale post, been busy recently!

Just looked in my PM folders and can't see that I sent you one, don't suppose you have any seat and tank pins left?

Quick release pins seat and tank

Saw them while trawling the zone, bought them sunday, delivered on tuesday,
fitted tuesday afternoon, bit of a fiddle on the tank pins, the tank profile on my 03 is different to that shown on the thread but got over it. Will post pics when figured out how.
Many thanks redratbike, top notch cracking idea:thumbup

i've got some smaller R-pins/clips would that help?

Quick Release Seat Pins

basic fitting instructions

Remove your seat and using the original bolts screw these as far as they will possibly go..this cleans up the thread ready for the seat pins.

Lay the seat on take a measurement from frame to top of seat plastic….then assemble the pin with the nut first, retaining lead and star washer , you should be able to set the rough height required using the previous measurement. Remembering to factor in the height of the black rubber washer if you wish to use this.

Quick Release Tank Pins
This is pretty much the same as above but getting the pin height needs to be more precise. Too high and the tank wont go down too low and you cannot insert the R-pin.

You may have to remove the steel inserts in the rubbers and reinsert once the tank has been lowered into position.

Another thing is that I had a right fiddle to get the seat pins holes in a position where I could remove and replace the R clips easily due to them fouling the seat brackets - used smaller clips in the end. Still a top job though Mark, thanks:thumbup
