I wont make the Saturday due to working and cannae get a holiday. Might make the Sunday but it will be a last minute thing, if dont get there enjoy and ride safe and slow:lol
Rigth do we hiv ony numbers for this yet. As far as I'm aware it's mesel and Rico. I think nobpb is gan, and some ithers have been commenting like they are thinking o gan. The reason I'm asking is that we need to look at booking some b&b and I'd like to get thoughts on which route we will be taking.
I'm going to try and go on the Saturday for part of the run, if it's the route you suggested ie Spean Bridge via Laggan etc then up the Loch via Beauly then up to Lairg I'd probably leave you at Inverness/Beauly area and head for home. I wont make the Sunday as i think one of our clubs is organising a charity run for 'fallen bikers' on the Sunday to the Kyle

I agree best to have a look for somewhere t kip, I have just booked a few places for next weekend and noticed there are not a lot o rooms left.
When we set off I could meet u at Mintlaw petrol station or even crichie dependin what route we headin off on.save u headin to far the wrong way for a start.
Also best for me to have a single room, nearly came to blows last time I was away with some blokes, the guy reckoned I snored loudly deliberatly !!!!!!

Nice one Tmin that would be good to meet up wi yi. Nmin I might be leaving fae Peternapper so Asda it would be I suppose. Then oot ti meet up wi Rico and Tmin at Tescos at Huntly, then oot by Dufftown and doon ti Spean Bridge etc via newtonmore or wherever. Then up to Lairgs.
that's anither 30 miles on for second day. so we might need to go further on the first day. instead of Lairg we might need to go up to Kyle o Tongue. I'm looking for ideas here guys. Do we do 300 miles on the first day and slightly less on the second.
O and by the way I wiz tempted to quote a tourist guide when we went to Cairo...."no need to get off the bus, there's nothing to see here" WTF. Needless to say ol Slomo kicked up a fuss on the bus and got the rest of the gadgies onboard ti give her *****. Ah what a great day oot that wiz
