hi ben ,hope its a good bike for you mate as they are prone to a few probz or three lol ,ive got a matt black mille R 02 model and i love it to bits its not a minter but its still a good looker but its free from any problems so far , also have just bought a 08 bol`dor and its better than mint cracking bike to ride .still keeping my 02 for the balls out days lol

what bike did you have before ? and how do you like the mille so far ?:biggrin

Cheers, fingers crossed it remains in good nick! My last bike was an 04 R1 and before that an 01 TLR1000. The R1 was a different sort of fun, but I missed the v-twin so, here I am with the Mille. I am taking it fairly easy until I have dusted off the riding cobwebs, but so far - loving the torque, not so much the clutch feel and difficulty getting it into neutral, but have picked up a few things from this forum I will try to improve this.:thumbup

i have the same difficulty getting it into neutral :eek:with the bol`dor mate and its total pain in the arse :angry need to switch off to get it ,my old 02 pops in and out no problem :doug need to try a bleed first if not theres some valve you can buy to sort it :biggrin. just make sure you have the best battery :thumbup you can aford and always keep it topped up mate
 
Hi, buying my first twin 2morrow, 2000 mille r in excellent standard condition for £2000 which i think is a steal(even includes private RSV plate!!!). hope i'm gonna like twins as much as i've been told. I'll see how it compares to my b12 and my blade!!!! I'll be visiting the forum quite alot as i like modding and i already want a renegade box and chip(i ain't even bought bike yet). See u all soon!!! Jock

hi guy's and girls as im new here i thought i would introduce myself, my names ryan and im from south east london/kent. i have had my "08" RSV1000r for about a year now and looking to get out a bit more on it next summer and obviously upgrade a few bits on it over the winter so im sure i will be asking for all of your advice over the next few comming months. anyway thats all for now! cheers
