welcome mate , the good thing about the grin is you dont need to pay for it its free!! but you only get it with a mille mate .the only time i find it hard to deal with is at funerals but ive not been to one for a while now thank god .ive tried a few ways to get rid of mine but it just keeps on coming back as big as ever so now i just exept it for what it is .if you realy want to get it gone the easy answer to it is go buy a four cylinder bike again and sell your mille :( but we dont want you to do that do we lol. anyway enjoy your bike mate .

hi there shrek here new to forum and big twins treat me gently
did i hear "gently":nana no such word here mate now that your one of the bad boys :biggrin . so how you getting on with your new toy mate ?:eatcorn ,having fun ? would`nt bother trying not trying to grin cause your stuck with it :thumbup
enjoy your twin mate :biggrin

Hello all, currently have a 1992 blade with tastefull mods thinking about jumping over to the dark side.

Love the sound of twins. Looking at a 2003-2005 rsv r with the ohlins kit. Ideally looking for a px.

Looking to learn as much about these bikes as possible the good, bad and ugly.

welcome w00dzy ,your old blade looks like its trying to be a mille R:devious, i like the look of the mille R gen 1 myself im lucky to have best of both worlds mate gen 1 and gen 2 love them both 02 and 08 years :thumbup i came of a 98 thunderace wich i had 4 years onto my first mille 2000 model right away i was hooked on the twins :biggrin just dont think i could go back to a 4 cyl now . they do have a few bad points to look out for but its a wireless keyboard im using and dont think the batteries will last to get them all in .all bikes have problems mate some more than others but if your looking for a twin the aprilia is a great bike ,but try and find a nice one thats had all the wee niggles taken care of its well worth the searching to find the best you can aford . then you need to give yourself time to adjust your riding style to gel with your new twin ,there ******* awsome bikes mate . most of them still look like new even when there 10 or more years old just make sure if you go and see any it starts first time no clatters or rattles or grumbles and it gets neutral without pissing around .prone for charging problems clutch problems dash resets so mileage starts all over again beware not all low mileage bikes are what they say so all old MOT`s and service history would be good the least owners the better means it should be well looked after but dont take my word for that lol my old gen 1 R 02 model i bought from a mate then got log books a few weeks after and **** me it had 8 owners lol, but **** it, its a great bike and ive had not one problem with it fingers crossed it stays that way. happy hunting mate :thumbup

Hello there, new here so thought I'd just introduce myself :)

The name is Bas and i'm from the Netherlands, after riding 4cil for 6 years I've purchased my first vtwin yesterday, being a beautiful RSV Mille '01 :biggrin

I've only ridden it for about 16 miles to my home through the freezing cold but was still loving the bike already :inlove

Here's my beauty:

on the tracks I still ride a 4cil, a 2005 R1 :p

some but not too many :)

it's already got a modified eprom it for an open airfilter and a aftermarket exhaust, seller sold the exhaust seperately and put on the oem exhaust so I'm looking for a new one (has to be loud! haha)
Besides that i just need to improve the esthetics by fitting new levers, brake/clutch reservoir caps and so forth... probably will end up with a long mod list after all :D

Hi all.

I have an Aprilia RSV1000R Bol D´Or Replica. Actualy it is my third RSV :) It has an K&N air filter, DanMoto exhaust and DB windscreen.
