hi people im new here got my first rsv looking forward to a good blast out , any links for acessories (she's a 2000 model) greatly appretiated thanks all.

Hi ApriliaGirly
Ta for the tip! This one had a Harris race can on it but the bloke took it off to sell it separately, the rotter.

I'm going to have to wait and see what a few different ones sound like. I don't want to draw too much attention to myself

Cheers!

Welcome to you Timo75! What bikes have you had before? I'm waiting for dry roads too.

Here's the first accessory you'll need if you're going to be cracking the throttle open often...

Part number: YYY-YYYY-FRONT.

Cheers,

hey there i have a couple of rr6's and a 954 fireblade ,just love the sound and torque of the twins where better to start than the rsv, how about you many bikes yourself?

Formidable bikes indeed! Very nice :) I've had an ER-5, a Hornet 600, a '98 TL1000s and an '84 FJ1100. (Pics are in the gallery on my profile if you fancy a bit of a peek)

I got my RSV last week and have mainly been washing it and trying to get it started!

I'd recommend the headlight diode mod in the Common Mods forum if you do any night riding or much filtering. Worked a treat and it's dead simple.

Mike.

nice bikes will check out your photos, will look at the headlight mod too.
i only got mine wednesday only done 6000 miles yellow colour, the picture on my profile is not the bike that was just one i found i dont think the camera does the paint work justice ,i will post some photos when it brightens up cheers
add :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

Cheers! Some of them were better than others, the TL1000 and the Hornet were both a blast to ride. I've been trying to get a decent pic of my RSV too. It seems a bit camera shy.

Afternoon!
Thought I'd post and say hello.

My name is Guy and I have bought a 2001 Mille, which I am picking up on Friday morning, can't wait.

After not having a bike for 3 years, setting up new business and having a baby, I thought it was about time to get back in the saddle so have snapped up this beauty;

I LOVE the high level Renegade cans!!! :doug

Mate that looks like black death on a mission :inlove

not normally a fan of the high levels but on yours they look great pal :thumbup

Cheers!!
The cans are what really sold it to me! That and the fact that it is pretty much immaculate, only has 12,000m, full s/h and even came with an Aprilia dust cover, wet weather cover and paddock stand!

I love her rear :inlove:inlove:inlove

tell ya what mate when then roads dry out your gonna know why people just keep these bikes for years . loads of great lads and lasses on here and really techy dudes are always on hand to help out .

these are top bikes mate you have chosen well .

I know, I wouldn't mind it warming up just a little bit too!
If it snows and settles before Friday I might just cry :bawling

Is wrong to spend hours in your garage rubbing yourself on your bike and praying for a little bit of sunshine :confused

Greetings from south Louisiana. Not sure how to do new posts yet but I see others have hijacked thie thread to introduce themselves so I figured that I would too. Just pick up my first Aprilia (2009 RSV1000R) from my local dealer (MOTO ROUGE) and I absolutly love her. I have been riding for 16 yrs. this time and also have (2) other bikes (2008 Harley & a 2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200S). After only a week with this RSV, I can tell that she will be my favorite. Hoping to learn lots about Aprilias and how to treat her right. By the way, luckly we don't have a riding season down here. I get to ride year round.

THat's some serious wicked can's...can I get beter picture close up?..
