Hi there everyone,

I've been lurking for a few weeks now - just trying to absorb all the info on here before posting too many stupid questions. I have recently become the proud owner of a 2002 Mille R (matt black!) and have been spending the last couple of weeks just going over it and cleaning and loosening all those seized stupidly small allen headed screw along wiht making sure all the de-restrictions had been done. All were done bar the exhaust baffle - which is now done. Here she is at the mo.....

just need to finish off getting her running smoothly before i really start to play and tweak her! I think the only thing left to do is setup the TB's and CO.

look forward to receiving plenty of mockery to my inevitable stupid questions!!

As you can probably tell I have an opportunistic and flatulant dog, also have a slightly less flatulant hot wife and a newly purchased 2002 Mille.

Well I have been visiting on this site for a while. And I must say that the forum is the best for aprilia rider, true knowledge and best talks.. i have been owner just for one year. and it's great.. other than my english, it sucks

Alreet! I was a member before the big crash and didnt really get round to coming back once everything was resolved. Ive had my RSVR now for something like 8 months and its spent the the last 4 months in the garage being protected from the harsh cumbrian winter! Ive been riding for about 8 or 9 years now. Ive had a good cross section of bikes RS125-CBR6-Hornet 6-SV650-636R-Hayabusa and obviously now its an RSV-R 2006 with approx 5k on it and a nice set of akra's. Took the bike out the garage last week for a blast and was a bit annoyed to find it had rusted some bits without even seeing the road or salt but I knew that when i went for the Italian bikes I guess.

So hello and thanks in advance for all the help, guidance and laughs Im sure will be provided in due course!!

Hi All, I had the fortune to meet Shazam today at Cadwell Park and he pointed me in this direction!

As you can see from my user name, I'm a tyre geezer and I supply and fit tyres to all sorts of bikes. I also do a lot of tyre support at trackdays and we're now the tyre company for all of the EasyTrack trackdays through the UK this year.

I hope to be able to contribute some help and advice, if required and anybody in this area is always welcome to visit us for a brew and a chat, we love an excuse to stop and drink tea!!!

My name is James I go by 3point5, which is my engine displacement in my nissan 350z. I picked up a 2001 Mille R from a friend/friend's wife. They both race bikes, she wants to go to grad school so they both are selling off their toys...I win!

Yellow 2001 Mille R, 17k miles - love it...
