Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you all a bit of an update, Yesterday I bought my bike! :doug 2001 RSVR (the pic is in 'my garage' and my avatar) Its had all the right mods done to it, the previous owner was a top guy and the bike is testament to the care he gave it during his ownership, obviously I am pretty excited about the whole thing and I needed someone to tell as most of my mates just smile vacantly when I try to tell them about it.....they just don't get it.

This brings to an end 4 months of looking for a decent one! Bike is getting delivered to me next weekend so, who knows, I may see a few of you out and about. I am based near Romsey, Hampshire and I know there are a few fellow Mille owners in the area so maybe we could have a run out sometime?

I learnt a lot from this site and its members on what to look for and how to buy a Mille so a big thank you as well! :thumbup

Welcome torquesteer I'm sure we will be seeing each other at some point as I am only a stones throw away! nice bike look forward to seeing it :thumbup

Hi everyone, I think this is the right place to post up a hello.. My name's Stu and i've had my RSV for a little while now, I found this site a few day's ago but i've only just got the chance to write my first post !. Still getting used to how the V Twin's make their power after many year's on the usual Jap bike's, (hit the limiter a few time's), but at the moment i'm loving it more each time I go out on it. I've had a few special bike's before now, but the RSV is a completely different beast to them all, i'm sure i've heard a few necks snap when i've ridden past !!, haha. I hope to learn a little more about the bike and get to know a few people on here, and i'll try and get some good pic's up of the bike soon.

All the best, Stu.

Hello

Ooops,

i see i was supposed to say hi to everyone here.

I think i posted my greetings in the wrong thread! Well, i know i did because i started a new one! first post first thread all in one.

Sorry if its in wrong place :(

So anyway hi to all, got a 2001 rsv n very happy, very happy indeed.

Greetings from the Far East everyone! Though it'd be a good idea to post a hello here. Got my hands on a RSVR Haga Rep a couple of days ago and boy, have i lost sleep just thinking about it. Like it was written in a mag recently, it looks like THE hardest bike on the planet! I've yet to fully sing its praises yet coz the suspension needs sorting but from initial impressions, it does have plenty of potential.

I guess this is the first true race rep (colour schemed wise) i've owned and I must say, I'm not used to the attention the bike's getting! Can't say I mind all the stares though. :) Like everyone else here, will try to post some pics of it soon. Meanwhile, ride hard but safe guys. Ciao!

Phew....

...in at last....they're tricky little buggers these computers ..aren't they? :biggrin

anyway.....already registered on the Tuonozone part...but there's stuff here well worth a look too...so here I am...:eatcorn

look forward to a bit of banter over the next few weeks...

later chaps...:thumbup

Welcome Tifa been here a while myself, they don't seem to mind Tuono riders here, got an 07 factory myself.

Welcome Mr crumbs also
:thumbup

Welcome all. Seems a bit daft for Tuorno riders to have a separate Zone - we love all V60s here.
Mr. Crumbs, where the heck do you ride an RSV in Singapore:dunno (in Malaysia?). And does it have to have a flashing light on it like the taxis do to show they're speeding?:nana (Do they still have those?)

Haha, seems like you haven't been to Singapore for quite some time now, A303. And no, we never had flashing lights on speeding taxis. You must have seen them on pickups and vans. Haha.

Yeah, its tough living in a country where there's a traffic light every 3km and the speed limit on the highways is 80kmh. So malaysia is the only place where we bikers get our kicks. Besides, we're only 3 hours (by bike) away from Sepang, so it isn't all that bad. Being a bike that loves to be thrashed, you can guess the Rsvr is a pain to ride around here. It didn't seem to bother the Desmocedici i saw around town the other day tho...:)

im new... hello..

hi, im new here.. been checking for a month or so.. ive owned the rsv for a couple of months now and loving it, before that i owned a yammy thundercat.. so hello all...

Finally got some pics up of my machine. I have owned her for 2 months now and must say:
This bike is F*ckin awesome!

I love all the info on mods etc on here. I only plan on changing over the can to something half decent and then just enjoy her

Wassup Millites!

This is my 99 Mille 1000 which was beaten up by a bus back in Aug.

She's having a bit of a makeover, so I'll be posting pixs here and looking for your opinions, as I'm thinking about starting a re-sparying/ bike design business.

All the best,
Phoeno

Hello everybody

Greetings from Upper Silesia, Poland. I switched to '07 RSV Factory after a long-term I-4 jap riding and it needed to get used to :) Love the front brake (not the rear one! :biggrin ), handling and overall exceptionality of the RSV. I've already changed the original ****** side-stand for "Bubseywoo-made"-what a improvement!
Now waiting for other mods :D

Newbie to both site and the mille

Hi all, just got myself my first Aprilia so thought I would see what the latest bike's community is like as I find that the people who own bikes tend to find out all the bad points of those bikes in real life not some magazine test.

I have just purchased an '04 rsv factory and couldn't be happier.

I am based in Ireland but am an Aussie by origin (but don't hold that against me!)

Cheers

Welcome mate. You've made a great choice!
Any questions, just ask as there's usually someone who can help out.
Enjoy!
