Hi Folks,

Got an old 2000 Mille...the gloss black one...love it:) Just started spending some dosh on it ...Beowulf carbon tipped s/s can, chrome can hanger, Evo race box, Dr Rossi chip, rear LED, tail tidy.... one side just resprayed (dodgy dropping incident....doh!) and some Haga decals (but in Chrome:)..going for the black n' silver look lol....might polish my rims in a bit too:)

Plan to get some Sun Inn and Squires runs in this summer...I'm in Yorkshire:)

HI!

Hi, I've had my Mille R since Feb. Great bike! Added a Mivv Carbon GP silencer, carbon hanger & diablo corsas.

Here's a picture of it and it's occasional playmate. Tried posting in the bike images section a few days ago, but said it had to be approved by a mod on something? :confused

Hope you like it, some awesome looking bikes on this site.

Hi
Iv just picked up an RSVR 2001, When I started it sounded horn and was ready to buy right then.
Thought I better take it for a quick spin and it ran very poorly like a limp mode and had Diag 1 on dash. Bike had been sitting for a while so put some fresh fuel in and still no power under load, worked fine on the sidestand. I gave it a handful of throttle blew clouds of smoke and flames disconected the battery and put lead back on and wheelied off down the road. All good.

Brought the bike and road 10hours back home trying not to get a ticket. Once in my home town I gave it a hand full but misses at about 7000rpm Diag 1 still on dash from when I purchased it.( since read on forum about dealer mode and throttle position which I have ago at tunning )
It is only doing 2000rpm at 100kph this seems low and was really reving at 7000rpm
before it started missing.
Would diag 1 have effect on running if not at zero? like the miss up in the revs?
Apart from small issue Im happy with bike and looking forward to owning/racing the RSVR

Hi all, I posted a thread saying hello in the Open forum this afternoon but it hasn't appeared yet :confused
Oh well never mind :devious I had better do it again.

Been on bikes for 20 years and raced for 8 before injuries to neck and wrists made the doctor call time on that so I got into the Streetfighter scene and built my own 7/11 and i love her to bits apart from I miss riding around people on corners as apossed to rear wheel steering the gixer.

So as my job has moved from 15 miles a day to 60 miles It decided to get something fun and always fancied a big twin.
I rode a couple of Dukes and to be honest my kidneys said no before i did lol.
Then I tried a friends RSV and couldn't believe the difference.
So that was it and I have bought just not collected a 2003 RSV Mille R, and looking forward to taking her to the limit :thumbup

So hope to get to know a few of you here and if anyone is around Ipswich / Norwich area let me know (especially if your female and fit lol) :devious

hi all, im new to the RSVR, bought it a few days ago after sellnig my 2007 ZX6R (dont ever be tempted or ever let your friends buy one they suck and die after around 5k miles with valve and cam chain problems!) so yea had aprilia rs125 when i was 17 and absolutely loved it, til a bird in a saab disagreed lol, but hey she payed for me to get my RSV in the end, its the 2004 model with full arrow system, bmc air filter, ohlins (youll have to forgive the ignorance i dunno if these come as standards on the base model?), rear sets, plus pretty much all the carbon you get on the factory has been placed on this bike, also got a "le mans" style fairing, owned for less than a week but i love it and really stands out at the uni bike club, not jsut the looks but the sounds from the arrows as the baffles have been "accidentally misplaced" lol. pics below sorry quality crap there off my phone.

Luke.
Vice President Of Portsmouth University Bike Club < jsut putting that in as it makes me feel important lol.
