Hello

Hi!

Just doing as board instructs me to do as posting first post and introducing myself. I have had Aprilia Mille 2001 three years now. Nice bike with great sounds and might keep that running as long as possible.

I am from Finland and used to write to apriliaforum.com (or something like that) but it seems it was closed now. I have also past time hobby of hunt carbon fibre and other nice parts from ebay to my bike.

Hi sam and welcome to the zone :thumbup

regarding carbon bits, pm Boyler, he's your man :devious

hello

Thought I'd stop by and say hello.

I bought Bainsy36's '03 Mille (was Big Un's!) about a month ago. I rode it back from Wales to London and loved it. I've put a 1000 miles on it since and I like it more all the time.:thumbup

All good so far apart from a niggling tickover issue which I may have to get advice on. Looks like this is the best place for that.

Hello

just thought i would say hello :nana my baby is an 02 mille i have had it for a year now its my first " V " i have always had jap fours but im now a convert :doug

Hi, the name is Aril and I'm from Norway.

My username means wolverine and I think it's the baddest animal in the world and I have it on good authority that the wolverine actually can teleport himself! Hovering ability goes without saying, everybody knows that. I doubt anybody who say they've seen a wolverine, because once you've seen him you'll be dead as disco.

Not an Aprilia owner yet, but if things tilt my way the next few weeks, I might be, so here's hoping!

MC boards are awesome for information and even though I don't own a bike at all for the moment, I frequently lurke this board: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?board=1.0 dreaming of one day building my own Honda CB café racer.

Well, that's about it. Have a good day :)

Hey everyone, looking to sell my R6 in the next month or so, I just hate the lack of midrange, and I love the sound of thunderous v twins.
Looking for a 99-04 model not the R though can't afford the insurance.

And then I'll cover it in carbon like my R6:dunno

You don't wanna do that, just buy the R Model and get not only the carbon bits but all the other stuff like, Brembo and Ohilns.

I am currently struggling with my back and wrists out and about on the Edwards Replica, so am seriously looking for a Tuono R in my area.

I pay 194 quid a year fully comp for a 2003 RSV R Edwards Replica, you should get quotes for comparison, as buying the base then spending a fortune on bits might be a lot dearer in the long run.

might well be putting my bike on here shortly, keep an eye oot for it!! :pirate

hello guys,
i own a 2003 silver mille and live in slovakia. no race tracks and shity roads. anyway i like to ride my rsv :)

More due to insurance, can insure a standard rsv for 75 quid less than my r6 on my current policy, rsvr bumps it up from 1100 to 1800. And I take pillions quite a lot. Although would a standard subframe fit an R?
Kwak that bike is stunning, fancy an r6? :devious lol

ERM THANKS FOR THE OFFER BUT ERM :scared

Clucking bells!! 1800 quid for insurance, you are kidden me.

I know I live in a fairly low risk area and I am admittedly an old fart but that's freakin' daylight robbery having to pay that kind of money

That's enough for a nice track bike
