Hi Guys
I'm having the well posted problems of non starting with my 2007 Tuono Factory. I've read up on lots of posts and it's looking like it's possibly the starter solenoid that's the problem but I want to do some electrical testing to establish this. The can bus electronics on this bike scare me as I don't want to damage anything so my question is, is it okay to put a voltmeter on the contacts for the plug to the starter solenoid to establish that the starter button is sending current to the solenoid and is it ok to try a thick screwdriver across the big terminals on the solenoid to see if that turns the engine over (not for long).
Thanks in anticipation
Barry
