My 2003 rsvr edwards is managing 160 miles to a tank! I could possably go futher but I don't want to push. The fuel light somes on at about 130 miles and i'll carry on for another 30 before topping up.

It is 40 miles a day of boring motorway miles though holding a steady 90.

I've changed my route to work and now i'm able to do all 4 of my shifts without filling up. I will admit the tank takes just over 18.5ltrs to brim it though and is nearly bone dry afterwards. I think the plastic must have streched.

It's gone from being the thirsty bugger on trackdays, to being a frugal commuter.

Blimey mate, that is bloody marvelous! I think that's more than a CB500!!! I've gone the other way from 120 down to 90 on the recent track day. I might try to get it down to 70 just for ***** and giggles.

Hallelluya ...... praise the Lord ..... a record, its a bleedin miracle.

Out of interest mate .............. what set up you running pipes? PCIII? Hooked Airbox? or is all standard?

:dunno

Well as I am one of Sir Spoonz's "Big Girlies" I get around 135 to reserve .....................Which reminds me I owe him a "free" lap dance ;-)

My laps not big enough for that big Butt of yours Kiwi. :puke

Must admit i never got anywhere near 160 out of either of my Rsv's.

120/130 ish

Two weeks ago I brimmed the tank with petrol and a 142 miles later totally ran out of petrol and a 1.5 miles from Keswick. Fortunately was able to free wheel it down the hill straight into a BP garage ....how lucky was that!

Haha that is pretty good mate, I was in a similar predicament in Alston on Saturday lol. I saw a poor lad on an 08 R6 about 2 miles out with a bust radiator from stones. I stopped to offer him some company like but the recovery truck was already called. Unlucky!

was out yesterday, went down to squires n i got 110 then the light came on...what milage is left when the light comes on??

Just finding out on my 01 which seems to be about 90 to 100 then the lights on then off then on again lol. my 99 was doing about 130-140 then light on.

Just filled up tonight and it only took 13 litres so I guess its smaller than the 99 which took 16 litres when the light was on.. bummer

I've got 54mm throttle bodies, open air box, 2-2 full akrapovic system, pc3, and i've seen 150 before the light coming on when travelling motorway only and not, ahem, playing.

Always noticed that the engine is pretty frugal if you are cruising, and not running up and down the gears, but then I also get to 80 on some track days and the lights bright on the dash :D Tis a weird one this fuel business.

that's pretty incredible...you must be coasting the entire time. steady needle hehe... cuz no way I could ever pull that off in Seattle with our damn hills and slow cagers waiting to be passed over and over again.

'02' RSV, i get 210Km or 130miles before fuel light shows..this is done @ near as possible to highway posted speed :D of around 130kph or 80mph or thereabouts ...usually. I run an EVO airbox kit ( waiting on a nice new Hooked model) :D Fueled by a custom mapped PC111 and exhausted with Titanium 2/1 racepipe.
